Tatsu specifications released

If the man wants to believe that the Earth is flat, then who are we to try and convince him otherwise? ;)

I am perfectly aware how the ride is laid out, thank you (although, a picture of the layout would be convenient).

Am I the only person that found that slightly hi-larious?

Oh, sweet irony!

I thought what I was saying was obvious: I am aware of how the ride is laid out (180 degree drop, large corkscrew, half-cork half-inline, drop, horseshoe to the right, turn left, pretzel, turn left, inline, 270 back right and brakes), but if they would just release a hi resolution image of the layout, I would be able to see it exactly so I could model it better.

Welcome back, red train, how was your ride?!
Wait...the earth isn't flat?

I survived a Japanese typhoon and the Togo flat ride of death!!!!!!
the mpep2 video is great. Hope it's not another forceless though. Could have used another invert or two IMO. Dunno when I will get to go though since much of my 06 free spending funds are going to Germany for the World Cup. Would like a chance to ride this and get another shot at X being open.
YOu mean this debate is STILL continuing?!?!?!? This is worse than drag queen show that goes on for 2 hours longer than it should have... or worse yet...Like bad sex with a guy who doesnt know hes bad at it. In any case, I still stand by my premise from back in November...If youre actually ON the ride, I dont think the measurements would be the first thing you contemplate...I would hope just enjoying the ride would be the main focus. Did all of you put out this much debate when Top Thrill Dragster and Kingda Ka were being constructed ??

If your last date was shorter than a coaster ride, dump him!

Okay, first you say this:

Like bad sex with a guy who doesnt know hes bad at it.

Then you say this:

If youre actually ON the ride, I dont think the measurements would be the first thing you contemplate.

Somehow, and I don't know from experience, but I'm sure someone here can back me up (oh, wait, maybe that isn't the correct way I should have said that...) on this, but isn't that a contradictary statement?

Tekno, the reference to bad sex with a lousy partner was in regard to the ongoing inanity surrounding the debate of Tatsu's specifications. As far as actually being ON the ride, I was referring to the roller coaster ride itself. Sorry, I should have been more specific in my metaphors ;)

If your last date was shorter than a coaster ride, dump him!

Already planning a trip from Detroit to Magic Mountain in the upcoming summer. This has finally convinced me to head out and check out Magic Mountain.

Here is to hoping X works.

That discussion was only considered a debate by the people who are wrong. :)

Believe it or not, some of us actually enjoy, y'know, physics, too.

I did not have time to read the 3rd and 4th pages...but is Paul Ruben the guy that used to own/operate an amusement mag? The guy who cashed subscription checks but never bothered to deliver the mag...?
He's the N. American editor of 'Park World' magazine. And an attention Whore, you'll likely see on coaster shows.

...saying that every ride ever built is the best ride ever built. A PR masterpiece.

Well, aside from the fact that no one really takes him seriously anymore.
