Survive It and Drive It II!!!!

I would do it for free. I could probably go 8 or 9 hundred laps straightbefore getting off due to health concerns.

WAIT they have breaks? Well then I could go on basically forever. Those people who threw up after 10 or 15 are such pansies.

Torture for YOU. I used to routinely pass up WT runs for Tilt-a-Whirl runs with Da Midget, especially in Car Number *** Edited 6/20/2005 7:19:34 PM UTC by CoastaPlaya***

Well this elimination happened at 7AM, so it couldn't have had anything to do with park operations, could it? That would really suck to sit on a frickin coaster for a week, trying to win a "who can stay the longest on a coaster" contest, only to lose because of some stupid stunt some morning show DJ comes up with (that has nothing to do with how long you can last on a roller coaster).

Yeah, I know the rules say blah blah blah. But I'd still puke on him/her/them.

No wait, I take that back. I'd puke on the radio station T-shirt and hat and fling it at the DJs. Then I'd go over to the car they're giving away, open the door and puke inside that. Not much of a sore loser am I?
Hey, now! Those t-shirts make the ladies go wild...sorta.

Playa, was that photo taken during the stain your coaster t-shirt lunch at Coaster Craze?
Might this shot help clear that up? :)
It is Coaster Craze! I was one of the few NOT sportin' a coaster shirt! Although it was too hot for one of my signature hockey sweaters!
Rigggggghhht. Hockey sweaters. They're so much cooler. *Gag* :)

I survived listening to the morning show for 45 Min this morning... Pure torture..

The highlights...

Offering all the contestants a chance to leave with $250 cash, no takers. Then $500 and some concert tickets..

Mentioned was the possibility of doing some park services jobs at 1am tomarrow morning. Taking out trash, cleaning restrooms etc..

Elimination round this morning was a triva contest with first person to miss 3 questions was eliminated. Joe was eliminated.

Sounds like yesturday it was a vote off the coaster.

5 remain.

Not sure I can take more than a few more min of this station!

Jerry

Hey Jerry I think you deserve a prize for listening to that horrible station for as long as you did! I could take riding that coaster for two weeks but as for Dave Ryan I can't take two seconds of that no talent hack! In that 45 min of listening you probably heard the entire rotation of KDWB's songlist....twice!

Playa I want to see you in a Wild sweater at Coaster Craze!

A dude in a sweater would be pretty low on MY 'Things to See' list...but I guess that's just me!

And what's the matter with KDWB's playlist? You don't like emo, Fiddy, Gwen Stefani, Fiddy, more emo and Fiddy again?

"Y'all can play my CD just a little biiiiiit....

then a little bit a dis an a little bit o that...

Wear it out and they won't wanna hear this (bleeeeep)

What the heck is an emo?
Music performed by men who cry. In front of other men. In public.
I'm more confused now then ever! I'll just stick with PA and Dubay!
If the appearances in website pictures has anything to do with it, looks like that Brittany chick is the fave.
Why does she remind me of an uncurled, Minnesohhhtan version of Dawny?
Stopped by again tonight and it's down to a very dirty five. Their t-shirts are now a week old and do not appear to have been washed! It's just crazy, really, crazy. They had completed 1200 laps as we were leaving.

Otherwise it was a fun evening hitting nearly all of the water rides. Coaster-wise Excalibur in the back row is still pretty intense. And 1.2 on WT is proving to be a sweet spot, especially on one of the trains but I've never bothered to figure out which one. It's not ejector air but definitely a nice nudge up/into the lap bar. That or I'm just in withdrawl from not taking a real trip yet this summer!

We rode lap #1197 in the contestant train today (6/21) - nothing major seemed to be happening. The 5 contestants were riding in the next to last car and all looked unamused as can be.

There certainly was a big buzz around the whole thing though.

And if WT is running 'better' than in the past, then I can only offer my condolences. I thought Steel Forceless delivered way more air the day of CBCon (which is to say more than I remembered from the countless trips during the 2002 & 2003 seasons) than WT was this afternoon/evening. (I choose the comparison based on the rides similarity)

The first part of WT seemed superior to SF, the turnaround was weaker and the return hills much weaker due to the mid-course hitting WAY harder than SF's does.

Enough with the comparisons/bashing - when we left the park 5 bored looking contestants were still riding.

I'v actually had worse return runs on SF, even compared to the 'dark days'. Morgans can be quite variable and they all loosen wayyyyyy up on 'Con ERTs.
