Now that's a coaster I could ride for hours upon hours or days. When they hold these things on coasters like Twister II I think, "ok....the whole thing will last 4 hours"

I would do that in a second if I lived anywhere near valleyfair. I would almost do it even if nothing was awarded to the winner

And the games begin! So what happened to the guys!

It's running a HELL of a lot better this season, too. There's this ---yank--- over the bunny hops that hasn't been there for years. CBaby, Da Midget and I didn't even bother waiting for the last car Sunday because the 'Morgan air' from the second-to-last was that good.

That may explain why a third of the train is empty and it isn't even lunchtime.

And check out the Hurl count! Eight so far!

I tried to get in on this last year, but I could never get thru when I called because there were too many people trying. At the end of it last year they had two die hards and they both got a car.

'Morgan air'...?

Other than the obvious PRev, I have yet to get a ride on any Morgans that really *got* me.....the bunny-hops home always LOOK good, but then I come to the midcourse, get BLASTED by the braking, and have a meandering journey back to the station.

Steel Eel, Mamba, Steel Force....is WT going to impress me? Really?

So how long did the last two longest lasters last last year?

Gator: There's no mistaking it for 'Clops, that's for sure. And it's not as if they hacked off the overly-long turnaround and replaced it. But for WT? Running very, very well. As good as it has in quite some time.

JUST 5 hours? Wow.

It is running better, but it is still not close to Coaster Craze levels. Seriously folks, if they turn off the brakes late at night like last year, WT is one of the best coasters ON THE PLANET!

See, this is why enthusiasts should be dragged into the parking lot and beaten. I mean really!

Everybody (bleep)s and moans that it doesn't run like it used to, so they tinker over several seasons and spend thousands on restoring it to its past glory. It's not something they have to do and it certainly won't show up in ROI figures. But what do we get? It's not perfect! GAH!

LOL, whatever. It is not close to perfect. Right now I can get *some* air on the bunny hills if I push down on the lap bar. Otherwise I just get light on most of them. That is better than last season, but I am not going to go worshiping the park for it.

I'm saving worship for a wavepool and heaping adulation for a Riptide that runs multiple programs consistently. Okay, runs consistently at all.

But in the meantime....props where they're due? Yeah, they'll get it from me.

I will say it is better too, and I did, but people (rollergator) were asking about the air on WT seemingly doubting if it could be *that* good compared to the greats. Sure it is better than WT 04, but it is no Maggie or S:RoS. At Coaster Craze it is, and I would worship that if that became the norm, but the point of my post was not to disrespect WT or VF, but to point out to those who asked when WT is top tier and that is still is not near there now.
