Did anyone else think it was funny that one lady got off after 15 rides because she missed her kids? Also, the whitest guy on there would LOVE to be stranded on an island with Missy Elliot. I would probably choose MacGuyver so he could build me a boat with dental floss and a toothpick and we could leave.

Down is the new up.
Better than saying she wants her mommy!

I say we move her into the 'vomit' column anyway. Who's with me?

Were you at coaster craze last year? I did not remember seeing you but you could have been on another ride. I did not get to the lunch as I came late and probably will again this year if I can make it. I have no idea if they will turn off the brakes again at the end of night ERT, but just the chance is worth it. As for now, I agree that VF is doing great with WT and several other rides this year (minus Riptide which has more downtime than a hooker in a chastity belt) but it is not top ten material till those last few coaster craze rides. If you have not experienced them, trust me, it is not to be missed. Those were some of the best coaster rides I have had. Absolutely amazing! *** Edited 6/14/2005 5:29:27 PM UTC by RavenTTD***
Your hooker in a Chastity belt reminds me of George and his Jerk store joke. . .

Down is the new up.
I was there for AM ERT with a (nearly) all-Asian entourage. They intimidated the lunch drawing crew to the tune of a couple prizes But I was gone long before PM ERT.

It could happen this year. We'll see.

At least nobody quit because their wrists were broken... yet.
Just came from my lunch break, which was taken at VF, and WT still running with air! I appreciate what they have done this year to that ride it is once again a pleasurable experience! However Steel Venom was down so that was a buzzkill. I thought about riding Riptide but they have the water program on "super soak cycle" and I did not think my boss would like me to return to work dripping wet!
If you ride Riptide on the ends, you can avoid getting wet, but I have yet to figure out how to secure an end seat if there is a line, so most of the time I just watch the ride. It is too bad too because I do enjoy topspins.

Has anyone considered putting "a light misting" as an option on the TopSpins?

Kahuna got me SO wet I wouldn't even ride the
Mondial Splashover at PCW, three DAYS later...

bill, might make the VF event, but you can be CERTAIN that I don't miss nighttime ERT sessions....mornings I'll skip occasionally, nights, NEVER!

Light misting? Why not program a 'Ferris wheel' mode too? Yeesh! :)

Well I'm glad to here that Wild Thing was running off last year and that's not how it usually is. We rode it a couple of times last year (coincidentally during the Survive It and Drive It)and thought that it was by far the most boring hyper we had ever been on. I'm looking forward to coming back some day and trying it out again.
Okay, my picks for finalists are #2 and #20. 2 was smart enough to bring gum (freshens breath, prevents ear-popping and keeps the stomach calm all at once) and #20. Not only is her favorite ride is the tilt-a-whirl (high nausea tolerance) but she's 36, married and has two kids. In my book, that means she just ain't...goin'...HOME.

Anybody else wanna sport their picks?

I really don't get how these people are throwing up after 13 laps. Maybe KDWB gave them "something" to eat before they got on. I would not put it past them.
7-park opening was probably single-train operation too...
Maybe the first vomit was particularly nasty and it made the others sick too? I don't get it. My grandma could ride WT 7 times in a row. Well maybe not, but still.
There's a difference between subsequent rides and exiting the station, walking off, back on, boarding, then riding. But I'd be shocked to hear the Shakopee Perkin's didn't have a hand in this!

Somebody should have an AM Coaster Craze WT-a-thon. Other than front and back rows, it wasn't that tough to stay in a seat. Personally, I'd find a SV marathon a little more intriguing. Not that I'd stay on long...

I stayed in the train for most of the hour of ERT at night last year and did not throw up, and I am pretty sure it was running a tad faster than it is now. Maybe you get more motion sickness if you fall asleep on the ride? JK ;) I love WT's second hill even when the bunnies don't perform.
It's the #1 reason I'm unimpressed with PTC 'Fat Guy' air...I can get that anytime.
Yeah, but PTC 'Fat Guy' air is often better. You would know that if you were fat.
