Fate is the path of least resistance.
between 320-380 ft.
a speed over 100 mph
at least 1 inversion or overbank
and it is themed to...well I haven't thought of that.
*WARNING* If you do not like extremely bad logical skills or guessing games DO NOT READ THIS. Please don't hate me. I'm just a fat kid. :-D
353 of launch track, about 820-900 feet of track up and down(my brother says it's going to be a record breaker), plus however big the top hat is, brings you to about 1200-1300 feet. The GAdv coaster is 2480 feet long, so that leaves about 1100 feet of track left, minus things like the station, the curve into the vertical track, etc. So roughly we put together a total estimate of about 800-1000 feet of track left. If it's going to be like TTD, it'll be about another 400 feet of track plus a turn back to the station. So we(in our own little stupid heads) formulated that it will not be like TTD unless it is nice and high.
But don't listen to that at all, because it's wrong. ALL OF IT.
My guess:
Rocket Coaster
Over 420 feet, below 450
Over 120 mph(basically a height/speed record breaker)
At least one inversion
My brother says I'm guessing a height/speed record breaking Storm Runner is coming to Great Adventure. Not quite.
Sorry if you read all the way through this. I just wasted a minute of your precious lives.

You're talking about a park with a ton of steel coasters and ONE wooden coaster. Strange enough? Try this on for size.
All you pundits that say they won't have a top hat because they already have one on Chilluh. Keep in mind that this park NOT only has 2 coasters named after Batman, BUT they're RIGHT next to each other.
just guesses of course
But this is kind of fun, I have to admit. I remember watching TTD's big yellow supports arrive, then start to go up. Then all of the sudden it was slanting inward, and no one knew what to do with that. Then the supports for the vertical track were twisting in ways people thought it would be impossible to complete. Then the announcement, and everyone settled down.

Never say never! Or can't. Or anything else along those lines, especially in other languages. :-D
Blue Track/Supports/White Crest(or Rails or something I dunno, the bottom is blue while the upper part of it is white) and what we all don't know is that this is a standing roller coaster where you face sideways and get launched. It'll be called something along the lines of 'The Big Kahuna' or 'Tidal Wave' or something to do with surfing.
Blue Supports/Yellow Track where it launches you out and you do massive spins up to the top, do a top hat, and then do massive spins back down. Labeled something like 'Wicked Twister:Next Generation'
Well those are it for now. Don't read those. Too late. You will come to know me as the boy with the bad ideas that you wish you never read.

I don't think it's safe to call it a rocket just yet. . .
RCDb says:
Make / Model: Intamin AG / Rocket Coaster
I know they've been wrong from time to time, but considering all the photographic evidence and the statement of a very reputable and respectable coaster site, I'd bet the rocket idea is a darn good one.
The question is how big is this rocket going to be, and is this going to be a record-breaker? I for one sure hope so. :)
It's more than likely the Duane saw the photos looked at the disucssions and the evidence and assumed, just like we all do, that it's a rocket.
Not saying you or he are wrong, just saying that RCDB isn't an independant source.
Hobbes: "What's the point of attaching a number to everything you do?"
Calvin: "If your numbers go up, it means you're having more fun."
I think RCDB is a pretty reliable source, and I think Duane may have some information that we don't (but he probably doesn't.).
A 1.6 G launch sideways standing up would not be very well recieved.
You never know. . . what if there were padded side supports to the side that faced the back of the train that slid into place once you were locked in? Still then, probably not.
