Seriously tough, I just found out some bad news. It looks like I may not be returning for a sixth season. Havent confirmed it but looks like the park maybe doing a little restructureing, which is bad news for me and several other people that worked there. And no I wasnt fired.

That is one good thing about the waterpark age...it makes the people who actually look decent without a shirt look that much better. :) There is nothing that will boost the ego more than a trip to the waterpark.

Construction for the Tornado has already begun, footers probably for the tower/stairs have been poured. You can see the footers from the outer road or even on 44. The slide is going right next to the speed slides in the grass area shown in this photo.

No slide pieces are at the park yet, but they should be arriving soon. I would expect an announcement at the end of the month or the beginning of Feburary.

It's good to finally here something about our park. BTW, it's gonna be Batman: The Ride's 10th anniversity, lol.

I love the Batman rides. Specifically the one at great america with the tree-filled second half. It is kind of hard to believe they have been around for so long. I bet a lot of the SLC parks wish they would have dished out a little extra for the clearly more popular Batman clones.

As SFZIP said, funnel parts have arrived at the park. Since he is too "lazy" to take pictures ;) MiG took some for youse guys. :)

swoosh have you ever thought about maybe asking SFSTL to photograph there stuff? Sounds stupied, but I bet you could find the right person in HR.

I never said it sucks. I actully love them, there quite fun. I was just being sarcastic because we all knew it was coming.

Whaaaaa? You knew that this was coming? I mean if other parks in the chain had already gotten the same ride with the same ad campaign I may have seen it coming, but this one came right out of the blue. I love it how people complain when a park gets something. Its "Waaaaa, SFSTl isn't getting anything again". But let them get anything but a major flat or a Major Coaster (and sometimes even then if it isn't what someone wanted) and its "That sucks! When are we gonna get something...other than what we just got?!?"

Jeesh! Be glad you have a freakin home park. Try living in southern WV...

Has anyone been past the park lately and noticed if slingshot is still there. I recieved my do-it-yourself home orientation software on Saturday, and the park map included on the disk does NOT show slingshot anymore. Just curious. Didn't pay attention last time I went by the park.
