Six Flags New England 2011

The football field area is a decent size and i was told that the Blitz is being moved into the southend in between the teacups and splash water falls. You can see just how big the area is from these aerial shots.

Your right the area is a decent size if it is a coaster they could even have it go over the walkway and use the space between catwoman's whip and mind eraser at least it's a little more room I think they could fit a decent coaster in their based on those arials. The only problem I have is that this new ride coaster or not is being built right next to Bizarro's entrance which is going to extremely overcrowd the DC area of the park. Although if that's the spot in the park with most room for a new ride I'll take it. Where are you getting your info btw?

I would guess a lot of people would know that, considering how nuts people are about pro football. I wasn't inferring anything; I honestly have no clue, which is why I was asking.

I'm sorry I suppose I acted a little too offensive. I just don't see the connection. And in all honestly I'm embarrased that I didn't even know that about the Redskins considering that I have lived in MA my entire life!

T-3 weeks until we make some Six Flags folk very, very happy. It’s almost time to award a few foursquare badge winners their Unlimited Exit Pass for 2011. To reiterate the promotion, this means no line waiting for the entire 2011 season. That instant, red carpet access will even extend to the new coasters we have premiering next season. Umm…did I say new coasters? What I meant to say was…oh…whoops. Of all the days for my backspace key to be broken!

What coasters have been anounced for next season besides Chang a SFGrAdv and the Texas Giant Remodel at SFOT? If those are the only two people know about they must be planning at least a couple more

SFoG is rumored to be getting a coaster, and SFMM is getting the roller skater that was supposed to go in this year.

Yeah I forgot about SFMM but I can't imagine thats what the blog was referring to and SFOG is rumored to get a Tony Hawk BS which in my opinion isn't a coaster to get excited about, screamscape pointed out the 2011 season pass perks list for SFStL has a new towering ride listed

Six Flags' PR people are going to try and generate buzz for any coaster, and if the only new coasters for 2011 are a Big Spin and Chang, that's plural, so the blog post would be correct.

I mean, without trying to sound rude, they're not as concerned with you (or me, or us) not getting excited about a Big Spin (if that's what SFoG gets), they're just trying to market a promotion that will be good for all of the coasters the chain gets next year (Even if one is a spinner, and one is a relocated stand up).

I'd be ecstatic if SFoG got a THBS - they've ben REALLY popular at all the other parks (SFoT, SFFT, SFStL all had good lines for theirs).

You still have Zoidberg.... You ALL have Zoidberg! (V) (;,,;) (V)

I enjoyed the one at St. Louis, I'd like to have one 4 hours away (and across the midway from Goliath South).

Don't get me wrong I have no problems with big spins I happen to like pandemonium at sfne when I can get on it and Ik what your saying but going to acne for the past decade its missing something and that in my opinion is either a launch a flyer or a solid woodie. Like gamerguy mentioned sfne is planning something coaster or not I think it would be cool to add a S:uf right in the dc area across from bizarro

Since nothing had been confirmed yet I can still be hopeful that sfne is one of the Parks the blog is referring to or you could be right about Chang and the big spin and Jr coaster T sfmm being the coasters its refering to

I was just over on the SFNE facebook page and in one of the discussions someone posted the same info that gamerguy did about the football field and the blitz as a clue, then he said the hall of justice was closing maybe for good, and for his last clue he posted a word scramble which unscrambled Green Lantern. I don't know how solid his info is or who his source is but could this all be true. Like Screamscape I assumed Green Lantern would be chang's new name and a couple weeks ago screamscape found a document showing the cross promotional marketing plan for the upcoming GL movie where it mentions SF bought the rights to theme a coaster to the Green Lantern. Anyone heard any of these rumors could they be true? With the justice league gone theres a decent amount of space there if the coaster goes over the walkway and over by catwoman/minderaser.

http://www.sixflags.com/newEngland/rides/newcoaster2011.aspx

In 2011, we're adding a 10th coaster to our already amazing arsenal of thrill rides. The new ride will be located in the DC Super Hero Adventures section and will offer an all new coaster adventure to delight thrill seekers of every age.

The experience begins when you board the four-person coaster cars and start a 5-story climb towards the sky. Once you reach the top of the lift hill, your world is sent spinning and twirling through a maze of 17 hairpin turns, winding twists and turns and unexpected dips while careening along 1,213 feet
of track.

Stay tuned — more info and the name will be announced soon

Almost sounds like a wild mouse... In fact... matches the dimensions perfectly...

why in the world would they build a coaster they already have, they just built pandemonium this makes no sense

Coaster Count: 101 Parks: 19
Steel: 86
Wood: 15

Well, it looks like they lost Dark Knight... then got it back, sort of... will probably go in the same location and everything, just not be enclosed (though that fact is still up in the air).

Well this a total letdown by SFNE that description sounds like Pandemonium twin didn't they learn no one liked the DK coasters if it is a mouse coaster even if its still up in the air this does not seem its going to change why couldn't they build what SFOG is building

But they got the mouse coaster for a lot less...

I figured that SFNE would be getting this as long as they got approval. They got the shaft when it came to the Dark Knight (Which I LOVED at SFGAdv, btw, and can't wait to ride it on Monday again), so now they're getting (literally) a stripped down version of the same ride.

And yet people complain...
