Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom Future

Just want to say that SFKK is my home park, and I have seen some improvement this year in Customer service compared to the last few years. I have been about 7 times this year, and at times I have been surprised by how good some of the employees were. Of course, there are still plenty who are terrible. But I see that everywhere (except HW!) When I was at Six Flags Great America this year, everytime I bought something at a store, the employees would ring me up and then stare at me waiting for the money. They did not talk or even tell me the total. I have had to interrupt employees at gift shops in Kings Island who were having a private conversation and almost beg them to check me out. I have seen bad service everywhere, not just SFKK.

Even though it needs so many improvements, I love SFKK just the same, and I hope it continues to be around in one form or another.

Thank you, Mike. As I was stating before, I admitt that SFKK has its share of crappy employees...but it isnt the only park. In fact, you mentioned HW....I've come across a few less-than-stellar employees at that park! ;)

/\ you are kidding about the HW employee comment, right? In all my visits there, I have never _ever_ had anything less than great customer service from anyone there whether their job was stocking items in the gift shops, food service, lifeguards, ride ops or maintenance/sweepers.

Part of the reason, other than they hire quality staff, is that they all know that the management there doesn't just collect a paycheck and go home. I have lost count of the number of times where I have seen Pat, Will or other various department heads walking through the park keeping an eye on things.

_That_ is what needs to be done at SF. I can honestly say, that in all my years visiting SFGAm, I can count on one hand the number of times I have seen the park GM actually IN the park.

Well that was only two visits. For the most part the service was really nice...it was just one or two employees. I'm not one to judge the operations of an entire theme park based on a couple of bad apples in two trips. From what others have said, HW has some of the best guest service in the country, so they must be doing SOMETHING right! ;) *** Edited 9/16/2005 6:09:09 PM UTC by Steel158***
