That is cool with me as long as they move Chang to SFGAm for Iron wolf.
Based on past experience, I would rather see Chang sold to a Paramounts park then to see it in the hands of SFGAm.
Mark my words, they won't be selling OR moving SFKK anytime soon.
SFKK draws a LOT of people to the waterpark (as small as it is), and I think that's where they'll concentrate for any near term expansion. I imagine that when Chaos is removed, the waterpark will fill in that empty space.
Heck, I'd just like to see two trains on Thunder Run.

Nobody takes down old rides and builds new ones--even ones you may not care for--in parks they're going to move sonewhere else.
They've added a Schwarzkopf shuttle.
They've added a ProSlide Tornado.
If there's one thing SF is good at, it's letting parks that they don't care for--and even ones they do--go for years without new attractions.

Wow I was just reporting what I heard, keep that in perspective. And yes building new rides and replacing them with old rides is exactly what coney island did before they moved to Kings Island. And for that matter King Cobra received a paint job around 2 years before it was removed anyway.
So them adding new rides and replacing old rides, is just a way to stay competive right now with what they have there. And they have some room, but they are heistant to use any of it right now. Some of it has to do with them not wanting to use all of it up, but perhaps they know they might not be there permantly.
Just keep this in perspective. It might happen or not, know one knows for sure. I think either way I could see happening. And yes it would be closer to Kings Island. But then again people in Louisville would still be closer to that park then PKI, and some people in Northern kentucky might be closer to this possible new location.
Not everything that actually happens seems logical if you would predict it say 5 years in advance. I would not like to see what type of response I would have received if I said 5 years ago, that Six Flags Worlds of Adventure is selling to Cedar Fair. Or that Six Flags is going to sell all its European parks. Or even for that matter just recently predicted on these boards before it happened that Astroworld was going to be closed.
I have a trusted source, and he told me something that could happen. I think you have to understand the could part. Nothing is a done deal unless you see the press release, or significant construction. I don't think I would believe someone in 1995 telling me that Kings Island is going to build a 218 feet looping wooden roller coaster. Just take it for what it is worth, a possibility that could happen and has some logically reasons on why it could happen.
Your source has old info. There was nothing to it in 2003 and nothing to it now.
Sorry.

This park gets a lot of crap from people on this board and even from GP I've talked to but what are we to the management of that company after we've spent our money there? Answer: Nothing.
I heard it from a reliable source. You never know. It could happen.
In my opinion, SFKK would be safe, because SF does not own the land the park sits on and even though attendance is flat that's one of the few parks that they've actually made money on. I suspect it's because people have continued to come even though they didn't invest much into the park. The reason most people seem to go there is because of the waterpark. Honestly, they could sale most of the rides and expand the waterpark and I think the attendance probably wouldn't drop a whole lot.
