Should CP's next coaster be wood?

I would love to see some wooden Coaster at the point.... I dont see it happening anytime soon. but CP has been knowen to pull some surprises out its hat. Personally I would love to see a reprofile of mean streak... But being a seasonal park ...I heard CP wont spend the money to do it..... I think they will just be the steel coaster leader . IMO

WOOF !

They should just rebuild the Mean Streak and make it have an 80 degree first drop, actual hills with airtime, something more exciting than scrape scrape scrape, creep creep creep. I miss the view from the top of the hill. Won't ride it because of the pain and roller-coaster headache...not to mention just plain boring. I don't see how they can keep it much longer the way it is. It's not part of the crowd drawing coasters there, it has an awful reputation, low-ridership, except maybe on a Saturday in around 4th of July...... and as far as maintenance, it's just a money-vaccume, definitely not generating any income by drawing people in to ride it like other coasters there. But it is a beautiful, well-lit roller coaster sculpture. I'd also like to see a new one, with those awesome Millennium Flyer cars over by the beach...

I would LOVE to see a GCI dueling coaster similiar to Lightning Racer. Now THAT would be the icing on the cake. No further rides are needed, except maybe an Intamin Drop to complement Power Tower, and a B&M floorless wouldn't hurt.

There have been coasters that were almost totally taken apart and rebuilt in another form and have been fairly or really sucessful.

Fact, The Clipper at Cincy's Coney island was not very poplular, Schmeck was hired to redesign it and hence came the Still Raved About but extinct Shooting Star.

Chuck, who's first visit to the point was cause he dashed there over a pic of it in cincy's paper. Oh well, I found Maggie.

Is it about coasters or friends? I say both!

This is just my wish and not something that I actually think would be done. Tear down MS and replace it with a GCI racing/dueling coaster. And then contract out TGG to build a CE ish coaster to weave in and out of the larger coasters structure. I'm thinking along the lines of Stampida with the three tracks (two racers/duelers and then the junior coaster) except using two different designers instead of one.

But what I think will be the next coaster at the point will be the tallest flying coaster in the world. (Please let there be a high speed banked turn low over some water) If not that then maybe a mouse coaster of some sorts in the Peanuts area.

Why not just more Wildcat over to Peanuts?

Uhhhh....because the minimum height is 48" just like any adult coaster?
