Shivering Timbers takes top spot in popular wood coaster poll

I had a #1 after Cornball on MY ballot, so don't blame me Gator! Cornball is in a 4-way tie for #1 with Legend, Raven, and Shivering Timbers.

You're not the only one. I found ST to be 'ultra-mega ok' this year. It fell from my top ten down into the twenties somewhere, as I try to vote based on my last ride.

In fact, after weeks of calling Moosh and Gator ST haters, I had to take back my words and agree with them that ST had, in fact, fallen off.

Gator says:

Your guess is as good as mine. I had it at #2 after the PNE Coaster, and ahead of Legend, Raven, Phoenix, Tremors, Ghostrider, etc.

Hell if I know! Cornball fell right in my #2 spot the moment my first ride ended. Frankly it might as well be tied for #1 with Raven.

Blame me, first time I voted. All my rides on ST have been Grrrrrrrrreat. Plus it is in my state of birth. Kara, your check bounced, could you send another? ;) Corny is down at 3 behind Legend and alongside GR (a sentimental ranking on my part based on its best performances). Son of Mr. Hanky is the most FUN (no relation to the stock) ride I can think of, to bad IB is not open for Hanky season.

Put me down as another Cornball-lovin' fool. I had it as my #4 wood, behind Phoenix, Legend, and Raven (in order), and just ahead of Grand National, CI Cyclone, Georgia Cyclone, Megaphobia, Knoebels Twister, and KW Thunderbolt to round out my top 10. I realize that's probably a weird ranking to some people (Knoebels Twister so high, for example, but I had a BLAST on it at PPP this year!)

aahhh tis a shame dat Megafobia has dropped out the top ten, but tis still doin us Brits proud! :D decent coaster, great first drop, pretty long, brilliant airtime hills, and the cows and sheep love it! lol
