SFMM or CP

SFMM has *always* sucked in one way or another. But their coasters were still pretty great.

Magic Mountain on the other hand...

Stock tip of the day.

All I can say is PORK BELLIES! This investment is a sleeping giant. Buy know and bid high, a good positive outcome in the distant future.

Stay away from natural resource goods and metaliod investments. Those things never pay off!

Me, I had one of the best days anyone had at SFWoA....but that certainly doesn't mean that the OHIO people who visit there frequently don't know the park better than I do...

The point to the "b*tching", as it was called earlier, is not to say "I had a bad day at park X", but rather to let the park know what THEY can/should do to improve, not only as an entertainment experience for their guests, but for the bottom line of their stockholders...;)

Gator, that's exactly why I like you. Always quick with a kind, sage word or two. See folks, THAT is how you become cool! ;)

So yah, Magic Mountain wasn't always this bad. I've had great days there in the past. I think they might have gotten in over their heads with too many coasters at some point and viola, they can only manage to keep a few open at a time.

Barinwashing? Given half the thoughts that pop into my head, I could use a good brainwashing now and again! ;)

IDEA: SHUT UP ALREADY.

Acourse...

I wasn't even aware that was a word, but if you intend to keep telling people to shutup, you won't be posting here much longer. The hammer has been stowed away for some time now. Don't make me bust it out.

Hey jeff...

CP Minuses:

I agree with you about the smoking, but I was happy to see on quite a few occasions, the security watching over the lines of the large ride (MF and TTD) and take the smokers out of the line. It shows that they care, but I understand you can't possibly watch every person in line. They do a good job at controlling the line jumping though. I haven't seen a problem with that out of all my trips to the park.

From what I'm reading here, I must have hit MM on two strait good days: late August with all of the local kids in school, and all coasters running at max capacity (though Deja Vu was closed, but I've been on one before, and I didnt expect to ride Flashback anyway).

Dexter, recent trip reports have been more positive of late about SFMM, and 2 trains are back on most rides, and S:TE has reopened. Flashback is still closed as is the Sky Tower, I don't think that's a big deal - but they really ought to get Metro open.

I consider myself to be in a position to be objective, given that I don't live in the United States and therefore neither is a "home park" for me. I wouldn't rate either park in my top ten, but on operating policies alone Cedar Point had the edge for me. Though it's not in the same league as either Blackpool or Europa Park :)

On my visit to SFMM, two coasters were down all day, several were on one train operation, and at least two (X, Psyclone) didn't open with the park. There is absolutely no excuse for this. Other than Top Thrill Disaster, everything has been operational at Cedar Point at park opening on my three visits there (and TTD has had people working on it).

I'll be back at Magic Mountain in about a fortnight though, and if it has improved as much as you say I'll post back here.

A very, very good day, 'Wreck.

I actually hit Da 'Mountain on a quiet Sunday with X running two trains--but the B:TR and RR were still single train. No Supe to be seen.

Mind you, even the locals were raving.
