All even there...
MM only:
Arrow 4-D
B&M Floorless
Arrow mega-looper
Giant Inverted Boomerang
CP only:
Intamin Impulse
Intamin Rocket
Intamin bobsled
So, in my opinion, they are even until you get down to the last two groups. The 4-D is something you won't see anywhere else, Scream is awesome, the GIB is better than the Impulse, and rockets are popping up everywhere, so I think that those put MM over the top by a bit, but I'm sure many would argue up there.

Oh, I was talking to Moosh. He said he preferred a shuttle looper to Maggie...
Schwarzkopf shuttles, no matter how many there are, are solid :)

Different strokes I guess.
This is the second time I have had to re-read my post back to you.
Although I do think more people would agree with me including the person asking for the advise here. If you like MR, then by all means go ride it. You can like whatever you want. :)
Coasters - SFMM has got a few good ones CP doesn't in X, Deja Vu, and Scream but CP has got some of the true greats TTD, MF, Magnum, and Raptor and I personally consider only X in that class from SFMM. In addition CP has better woodies, Gemini, Wicked Twister, a lesser floorless but not by much, a bobsled (I can't believe it doesn't have tracks) and so on.
Certain victory.
So, where do you want to go?

Ive been to both parks and I would rather go to CP anyday then SFMM.
Now there's a surprise.
I don't dislike SFMM, but it's like the county fair. They have some fun stuff, but after I leave I feel beat down and like I put up with a lot to have a few fun rides. CP is like the magic Kingdom....perfect?...no....but I never want to leave, and I do leave with a good feeling.
I've never been to MM due to not having travel money or wings. It has had some very lousy TR's in the past, and it IS a SF park. I used to REALLY, REALLY want to go there but within the past few years, I have not had any desire.
Has more than one train operations returned to MM's coasters yet? Has S:TE reopened yet? What about other closed rides; have they began accepting riders yet? I'm not trying to be a smarty-pants; I think these are questions that should be answered before anyone decides on making a trip to MM, imho.
Having been employed at CP, I will admit that I am baised as heck. CP is very customer focused, and it is rare to see a coaster or ride closed, with exception to Fridays during Halloweekends. The ride opps are, for the most part, excited about getting the trains in and out quickly. The sunset looks especially nice from Lake Erie.
I will repeat that I have never been to MM, but unless it has exceptionally improved from the time I have read those unfavorable TR's, I have no real desire to ever go. I realize a lot of people have had a great time at MM, but I will not be willing to take that chance until I hear of improvments, especially due to the fact that the park is so far away from me.
I reluctantly click "Submit reply", regretting that my post sounds so negative.

Actually, it hasn't turned out that bad, but I'm sure these threads are started deliberately to make SFMM look like the worst park in the world and Cedar Point look like the best.
Dexter, recent trip reports have been more positive of late about SFMM, and 2 trains are back on most rides, and S:TE has reopened. Flashback is still closed as is the Sky Tower, I don't think that's a big deal - but they really ought to get Metro open.

By whom and to serve what agenda?
Could it be, just even a little, that the enthusiasts who frequent this board prefer CP to SFMM based on nothing other than personal preference.
Brainwashing? Deliberate attempts to belittle one park and boost another?
