SFKK question

^^ It probably is more technical but that's what I heard when I was going through ride orientation by a Supervisor. Just thought I'd throw that out there since this thread went from discussion about the removal of T.E.D. to name & paint changes to Chang and T2.

Anyway, I didn't really care for TED so it leaving or staying won't have an effect on me. What does affect me though is having to walk from Twisted Twins back to Thunder Run just to get to T2 and Chang. Let's hope they fix that problem. ;) *** Edited 2/2/2007 5:42:02 AM UTC by mudinthevayne***

Thrillerman1,

The top of Hellivator has been painted blue but the body is still red. And I believe it has been confirmed that the name will be changed to Superman: Tower of Power.

And in 1998 if I'm not mistaken it wasn't going to be called Joker's Jinx(Chang) it was going to be called Poison Ivy. That's why it was painted with purple legs and the yellow track stayed. I could be wrong though.

^At one point the whole thing was painted green, I believe. I have a brochure showing off the green paint scheme. (It may have been photoshoped though)..........
Uh... Mudinthevayne, I don't know who you are (well, actually I might know, but I don't know yet), but you probably shouldn't say what your supervisor has said. That could get you in a lot of trouble if they find out who you are and what you have said.

The history of Chang's colors:

1997-1999 Original school-bus yellow on rails, supports, and track.

1999-2005 Purple supports with lime-green track and rails (was going to be called Joker's Jinx)

2005-present Blue supports with yellow track and rails

I'm surprised that there is no talk of Deluge on here. How sad.

BSBMX, I never said my supervisor said anything. I said a supervisor. Also it isn't like the information that was said to me was confidential, as it was told to me and a group of about 8 other people. Considering that a lot of people started calling T2 Batman when they painted it black and put the stunt show sign in front of it, I highly doubt anything I've said in this topic is going to get me in "a lot of trouble"... totally disregarding the fact that I don't work at SFKK anymore. With that said, I also don't think that there is a lot of talk about Deluge in here because this topic was about the removal of T.E.D. and Deluge isn't in that spot (according to the video).

Mud,

With all due respect, while your job cannot be punished by the company at hand since your connection to them has been severed, claiming to have inside information (you most clearly do not have) about the company from your times as an employee with them is an offense in which a lawsuit can develop from. I doubt, seriously, that Six Flags has enough time to waste on the rumors started by one individual who posts this libelious information, but its also true that many people here may find a person who has nothing better to do but spread pointless rumors a tad on the annoying side. I suggest you quit while you are ahead, and involve yourself in discussions that WON'T lead to false information being distributed.

This is a free country, and you are entitled to say what you wish. Don't take this as a demand...its simply a suggestion and a request. *** Edited 2/6/2007 9:48:25 PM UTC by Steel158***
