I am proud to say my homepark has 3 B&M's, soon to be 4, hopefully.;)
But a SBNO roller coaster is still there, while a now removed Power Dive and East River Crawler are not. Even if Shockwave does go, I have a hunch it wont be because of the coaster. I don't know if it is just me, but if they were going to remove Shockwave, don't you think they would have already started? I don't really know how long it takes to destroy a coaster, but if they needed to build a new coaster and take out an existing coaster during the same offseason, you would think they would have already started.
Basically, I think Shockwave is staying. There is a lot of space over in the Shockwave area, but the crowds over there are fairly small. So, really, I think that the new coaster will intertwine with Shockwave and Batman. Just my thoughts.

Ah, the official ungrateful enthusiast-complaining begins by SFGA Bob. The real riddle was seeing who would whine first. This post is now complete as someone posted earlier about cheese... they go so well together.
oh please, I'm not ungrateful. I'm happy as a pig in...well, I'm happy we're getting a new B&M, but that doesn't mean that SFGA could do better with the theming. excuse me for wishing that a coaster experience be complete with unique, creative, and appropiate theming. if you want a park to be a mishmash of bad theming, fine, but some of us like our theming to have a certain logic behind it and Superman in New Orleans doesn't strike me as the essence of logic.

Ric Flair was hitting on the female host, he told her - "Space Mountain may be the oldest ride in the park, but it has the longest line." WOOOOO!
S:UF, Lucky lucky.
Of course I said this all along. But hey if people want an 800 foot inverted standup flying cheese on a stick stand they want an 800 foor inverted standup flying cheese on a stick stand.
S:UF really is an amazing ride though.

All I need is 4.5 million bucks and a half a mile long sliver of land and maybe someone could build me my very own Shivering Timbers. ;)

Last I checked, East River Crawler was still there (did I miss something??). I would be *extremely* surprised if the flyer went in that area of Orleans Place - it makes no logical sense at all (especially space-wise). Kiss Shockwave goodbye.

What is red, yellow, and swiss and is sitting in SFGAm's employee parking lot?
-----------------
Well, that couldn't possibly be B&M track, considering that B&M track comes from Ohio...
While this makes sense, I refuse to believe anything until I see some photos, or someone backs you up, Legendary. It's not that I don't trust you, it's just that I'm denial about a Superman themed ride. Why red and yellow? Why couldn't they have been in ANY color besides red and yellow?
On the positive side, Six Flags has been known to theme and name two similiar coasters exactly the same, while the rides themselves are quite different. Oh, please, please, please!!!!!
P.S. I hope Shock Wave (yes, two words; look it up in the guide-book) stays. It's a rough ride, but I still like it.
