SFGAm riddle

Yeah it does say that.

I have pictures of track, supports and Shockwave deconstruction. I won't have them up on a site (no host, if anyone is willing to host, email me) but if you want to see pics, just send an email my way.

oK ILL TAKE IT OFF

Just curious, but how do you have pictures of Shockwave deconstruction? It still seemed to be in one piece when I left the park earlier today.

Kyle

Bullguy if you need a place to put your pics at, I could put them on my web sites coverage of SFGAm Construction and give full credit to you if you want.

You guys can talk about Chi-Town traffic 'til you're blue in the face (the Blue Man Group, again?)....but the real PiA traffic in the U.S., North America, the World, perhaps even the Universe, is in/around L.A. Those folks must be crazy to live there! There'd be hailstorms in Hades before I'd deal with THAT traffic.....

Bill, Ganesville, 15-20 minutes each way to work, even when the students swarm like flies....

Thats funny because when I went to LA for Coaster Con XXV, I found that I liked driving in rush hour traffic in LA over driving in Chicago. Yes it was stop and go....but that is better than Chicago's parking lot traffic. Maybe it was my timing. But LA was not bad at all in rush hour.

I went both Saturday and Sunday. Here is what I saw:

1. The chain is still on Shockwave. It's very visable from the parking lot if you walk over to the fence to take a look.

2. There is a crane parked next to the Shockwave lift.

3. There was a red maintenance truck parked under Shockwave's final brake run on Sunday around 12:30 when I got to the park. Some sort of work was being done in this area, but I'm not sure what.

4. You can see the new track and supports very well from Iron Wolf's lift. Looks like a B&M Flyer to me, but I could be wrong.

5. East River Crawler is not a 3 foot stub. I'd say it's closer to 4 and 1/2 or 5 feet. :)

Can anyone tell by the track what Type of coaster it is?
BullGuy's avatar
The track is B&M track, and without the supports, it can't easily be determined. (yes, I know if you look really hard at the ties...) There are however, supports on site- and a quick glance at them shows that it'll be inverted. (I-Beams) The track is for a flyer.

ondrew, that was me you met. I can vouch for him about what the employee said. It's true folks- the man is only relaying what an op said.

That said, the op's story seemed just a little fishy to me. After all, he did top the 4 D bit off by saying that next year Batman is going. ;)

I think this is what people are talking about...
http://rcdb.com/installationgallery1568.htm?Picture=32
then if you look closely at these...
http://coasterchild.com/main.htm
http://coasterworld.cjb.net/
you see similar track shapes unlike any other type B&M coaster.
Oh yeah and I have proof from the viper nachos guy that raging bull is going in 04 for a Frisbee. ;)
