SFGAM 2003 Construction Photo's

To answer peoples questions, I have heard that a few people are going to take pics on the 22nd, so look for a couple updates then. I am really getting tired of all this fighting. I'll admit I have said some things to "feed the trolls" (not meant to anybody in particular) but now its just getting stupid. Why can't everyone just let other peoples opinions be what they are, opinions. How about everyone just stops critisizing other's posts and tries to add to the topic, not make it worse and pretty much pointless.

Well since I've got the sticker, I don't need to go to the park, which is good and bad. I don't have to take the trip up there but then again it's to SFGAm. Oh well. Ay least opening day is soon! I can't wait. :)

Transfan..why are you starting **** agian?

Why do you have to always swear in your posts? Why do you have to ask so many questions? Look! Now I'm asking questions! You just need to go back under the rock you came from.

Everyone, just shut up! The topic is on GA not who hates who. Now get over it.

I was just wondering, how is the landscaping coming along?

"Hey, that looks like Princess Diana. Oh wait, it's just a pile of rags."

I believe, and I could be wrong, that the dirt is down, but the grass has yet to grow in, which is to be expected.

So grass is going in under the ride? I would sure hope so...

Any new pics today? I thought HD was going today.
Season Pass processing only started 30 minutes ago.
No I am Not going today I aready got my season pass. I also live an hour away from the park so if I left now It would be almost dark by the time I get down there and take pics.Someone else go and take pics of the landscaping and the entrance to the ride from carosuel plaza. And if it tests make sure someone gets pictures this time.

Unless you jump the fencing (blocking you from going down to the Orleans area), you won't be able to get a pic of the entrance for Superman.

And while I also enjoy seeing picture updates of the progress, I think everyone needs to calm down a bit. "Ordering" someone to take pics if they go is sort of silly....won't be too long and the park will be open and you'll be able to take pics all day. If you really need to see a train running on Superman, there are plenty of pictures from both Georgia and (now) New Jersey floating around. I'm guessing that those pics look pretty similar to those anyone will take up in Gurnee ;) .

Anyways, I think there are a few things still "unknown" that will be interesting. Landscaping, entrance, and the actual path through/under the ride to get to the loading station. I'm really interested to see how all of that turns out...obviously the most important part (the ride itself) looks great.

TransFan..to anwser your question..I only sweared that once..ok maybe twice..but at least i am not as bad as some people are on here :)

I got some pictures of it testing today, anyone who has a place to post them please E-Mail me and I'll send them to you. They were working on landscapeing while they were testing the ride.(Which did seem odd for saftey reasons) there is lots of dirt being moved around. Also, one train had the dummies on and one was running empty.
Sorry no photo's!!! When i went to the park at 530pm they were testing the Superman coaster and it looked like it will be a excellant ride!!! Their was alot of top soil under the ride and it looks that they are working on the theming etc which is also excellant(yeah no parking lot under the ride!! You were unable to see the ride entrance and it looks like it could be a long walk to the ride station.

Also the photo processing was very smooth and i have have to give SFGAM high marks for giving out small pieces of pizza to people as they left the photo area from the firehouse and the employee's were very friendly. They also redid the bathrooms outside the park near the kennel/stroller area.

Very very nice... This season is going to be one of the best ever, at least it sounds like it. Even though you can't be sure just from seeing part of the park but it sure is a good sign! Just a week or two left.

It's great to see a picture of the coaster testing - Since I haven't been down there to see it running I guess Opening Day will have to do.
