Just because no outside work is being done, it doesn't mean that nothing is going on. I am sure that they are doing electrical testing and installing and other things. Its just like TTD which has technically "testing" for a month now.

You guys are worrying too much, don't forget that Great America opens more than a month from now. Alot can happen in a month. Clam down!!!!!!!When there is like a week untill opening day then be worried, NOT NOW!!!!

Folks, lets not worry, remember this ride is a BM and it is also a second generation. Those two things should quell any fear about the ride opening extremely late (and by that I mean after Memorial Day); however this is the park that took a year to open its last new ride so we will see.;)

Don't Worry:

Even if the scenery/themeing around the ride is not complete (Why wouldn't it be?) they will still open it. They will just have to finish it up during the days they are closed in May. Basically, It's done! DON'T WORRY, Please :)

Deja Vu didn't start construction until late March anyway. Six Flags decided to do the one in Magic Mountain, then SF Over Georgia, then Great America. Deja Vu is a very complicated, prototype ride. S:UF is a second generation B&M.

I’m not worried, I just felt like Complaining for the heck of it. Besides I will probably wait until the middle of the year to ride it if I don’t go to the coasterbuzz get together. I have made kind of a tradition of this mostly because I don’t feel like waiting in line for 3 hours for a 3-minute ride. When the crowd dies down or when it’s a rainy day is when I will ride it.OnDrew

July and August are more corwded than May and June.

True Coasterguy, but even if you go during the Week Days (Mon.-Thurs.) In July and August, they aren't as crowded. The most I ever waited in line on a weekday was 20-25 minutes. :)

I believe opening day would be on a Saturday, May 3rd. They wouldn't open on a weekday since weekdays don't start until later on towards the end of spring.
