As of today the track is 100% complete. I drove into the main parking area to make share. The most interesting part of the ride is the bottom of the pretzel loop. I was really surprised to see that it dives into the ground.

ALSO: while I was filling out an application for a job I ran into Mark, the B&M ride op. supervisor. He was very excited to show me the new ride and explain it to me. While I was chatting to him he informed me that there would be 2 sets of trims. One will be on the incline right before the pretzel loop and the other will be right before the horse shoe turn.

Wow, thats a lot of replies. Anyways, you should all look at this pic. It sort of shows a paradox between what was and what is now. In the pic, notice the lone piece of shockwave track. Kinda erie, kinda weird they just left one piece there, kinda sad its gone, yet excited for Superman.

To answer someone’s previous question. There is no room for a new theme area or any flat rides. In the area by superman.

The entire ride is within the old fence of shockwave.

Also someone asked if mark had said anything else.

The only other interesting thing he said is the ramps to the station are still in the design stages and are not done as of yet.

Ah! Mark is still there. Long time since I have been an employee of the park. And just to let you know he's not a B&M Ride Op Supervisor unless thats a new position created. That would mean he would have supervison over 4 so called rides. I'll leave it at that.

WOOD: It does a body good.

What I find to be weird about the way that SM:UF is positioned is how far away the station is away for orlenas place its even farther than Shockwave was and that was pretty far. Also it will be weird walking by the staion on the way into the parkthats sounds stupid but somethings werid about that to me. If you notice that walk way from the Drop Off to the Park entrance is really close to the Ride. It will be like walking by the boomarang on Shockwave. I hope the y put some more trees up.

I wonder if they are trying to keep the station as far away from New Orleans Place as possible, because Superman has nothing to do with New Orleans. Maybe they want to move the Station closer to Hometown Square.

CS,

Not to be rude, but have you looked at ANY of the photos or digital representations of the ride? The station is all the way out by the edge of the parking lot...

I know thats what I think is Werid I think it should have been made so the Staion is closer to the park. But I dont really care I just wanted to post my opinion.

they need the entrance so far away so that they can have a line that will hold all the people the ride is going to attract. Superman is going to draw an amazing line and they'll need the room to put that line in. it makes sense to me. plus, the people have to walk past the entire ride before they load which just gets them more excited.

gimmie a hell yeah!

I just said that because I read that the station was far away from Orleans Place. And I did not realize that till now. So I was wondering what area of the park the query line is going to start? if it is Orleans Place or Hometown Square.

There is no way for the line to reach Hometown Square unless they build a bridge over orleans, and of course that'd be completely stupid. The only other place they would put the entrance is in the Carousel Plaza, which doesn't make sense either. I'm willin to bet the entrance will be right where Shockwave's entrance was.

Things to do in the offseason:
1. Have fun with friends 2. Ski in the great outdoors 3. Not sit in front of the computer for hours obsessing about coasters

Would it be possibe for them to use some of the SW line? Is the old SW line even there anymore?
they probably could use the old queue houses where all the switchbacks were, but I would assume that they would build new queue houses. if you look at the CG pic of the GAd one you can see that the line doesn't look anything like SW's. I just hope that they keep the new line as shaded as the SW line. even though I would always just walk right through it, that queue house seemed like a jungle with all the shade.

Perhaps the ride was placed far away from the park so that there is room for another future coaster.
