SF St. Louis - Anything going on??

:) Some of you people crack me up (HIGHER UP). ;)

Now as for Ninja, should we just TAER it down?

((Now as for Ninja, should we just TAER it down?))

I'll take dibs on the first Whack!!

Aw, I like Ninja. The first drop is pretty mean in the back seat, the headchopper after the sidewinder is grrrrreat, and it doesn't take up a lot of space. Oh yeah, and I once nearly blacked out during the loop.

*shrug*

If the shoe fits, find another one.

For grins, I kept track of my laps on each coaster this season - Ninja got the most... It's nice to have something you can always ride without a line.

Long Live the Ninja :)

Someone mentioned footers and we are all talking about Ninja. Did I miss something?

This thread is like a junior high girl conservation - it changes subjects everytime some else posts.

I don't remember footers, but I remember talking about track and how it is NOT going to SFSTL....hmmm cornfused.

Would somebody make up their mind?

There were several "important looking"(suit/tie) people at the park today, but they were standing by Mr. Freeze and Scooby. Don't know who they were or why they were there.

There is still no sign of anything happening at the park and nobody really knows what will happen here in 2003(but somebody knows...)

Sorry swoosh I misunderstood something. I got confused in all this jumping of topics and got myself confused. Sorry about that. I meant supports but it looks like they turned around near six flags.

Is the Scooby Doo ride going to be open for the $15 weekend or have they drained out the water like the other rides? Would hate to drag the rugrats out if this ride isn't open.

Damn Cornfields

Just to let everybody know the park is open on November 2 and 3 from 11-5. Tickets are only $15 and everything in the park is at least 30% (might be 50% off).

I don't think that there is Fright Fest for the "Last Blast" weekend, I know there is no Train and no hayride. But the park may keep the Haunted Houses open. Most rides will be open(1 train on coasters and reduced capacity on others, but almost everything will be open).

The area(hayride location) where the coaster would go should be cleaned up this week and maybe some construction could finally start here, IF we are getting something in 2003.

Wasn't the top dogs from SFparks supposed to be there this weekend? That may have been who it was.

No all the sf parks have a meeting there durning the second weekend of nov. And this weekend there were some "important" people present.

-----------------
I will be very upset if my parking space is replaced with intiamin track. Or ANY track for that matter.

Hmm I suppose since there hasnt been any activity in this thread in almost over two weeks, no one has seen or heard anything. Of course as the post above says there is that meeting second weekend in November so mabey we will hear something there good or bad.

If practice makes perfect but noone is perfect, then why practice.

Well I'm thinking optimistically that there will be something for next year - but I must admit, there's not much talk going on and last year the place was buzzing even with Scooby being that only thing added, it was commong knowledge way before IAAPA last year.

Hey everyone! I just thought I would bring this topic back up to see if there is any more news! I would be really happy to see the Drop ride, since it seems like SFSTL is the only Six Flags park without one! (but I'm probably wrong) In fact, it's practically the only large park (Six Flags or not) without one. We need one! lol And, someone said that SFMM has a lot of Coasters, but not much else, but look SFSTL! lol We don't have too many coasters or rides. lol Oh well. No offense, but I get really tired of hearing about SFMM and all that they get every year. *sigh* Oh well. ;-)

Aaron

SFStL is a great park, and you need to remember that parks aren't just about coasters and flats. In fact I'll go as far as to say Six Flags St. Louis is probably my favorite park in the chain.

I take it you haven't been too many of the parks in the chain then, huh?

SFStL is a greatly run park...but I do agree with Aaron, the park needs a drop ride, and a few more coasters to get any attention.
I was there near the last weekend for the first time. The only thing I didn't like was that paths. I got lost very easily, didn't help that I left the map in the car because I didn't want to lose it or crinkle it. It does need a little more of something but what I couldn't decide.

Wood Rules!

It needs more flats. The ones that they do have a sparse and sometimes don't even run. I think that it's been at least 10 to 15 years since they received a new flat ride. All that they have added here as of late is coasters, Tidal Wave and yet another revamp of "Injun Joe's Cave".
