SF St. Louis - Anything going on??

But Bob never really did any actual work. He just watched and got in the way...

A can of paint would be a nice start for the Eagle... (the handrails are SUPPOSED to be grey and peeling, right???)

No no no, painting is for Martha Stewart, after all "it's a good thing."

Did anyone get out to the park yet to see if the track is there. Since I am clear on the other side of the state - it's a little hard for me to "drop in" whenever I feel like it.

Hey Swoosh I might be going tomorrow.

and now Bob is trying to sell his New York pad for 5+ million (and he didn't remodel that either)

Waiting for the CP announcement to be made so that about 1000+ posts will be made complaining about it.

Well, I am planning on heading to SFStL sometime this weekend to enjoy fright fest. I'll be on the lookout for any land clearing or track pieces. I will make sure to post pictures if I happen to see anything.
one other note-where do you think would be my best opportunity to view the new coaster pieces? In the graveyard? I was just wondering where I'd be able to get the best pictures with fright fest going on.
If they are in the graveyard, the best way to see them is to take a ride on the Eagle. On the turnaround before the first drop, you will get an excellent shot of the graveyard. But, I have a feeling they are storing it in a parking area somewhere.. possiblly on the west end of the parking lot.

TR2k3....GET READY!

Well the thing is, there are some many pieces to different rides in the graveyard, that it would be easy to over look something -- if it's under a tarp. Look in the employee lot, more than likely it will be covered up. Orange is kind of hard to camoflague if it's not covered up. Hmmm...you might have to settle just looking for land clearing as of now.

Sorry too disappoint u guys but as of tonight (Oct. 18th) there is no track at the park. And also the real grave yard is best visable from the lift on ninja. Look too your right and you should see some white supports a feild and a blue boat thingy

btw there are several large wooden boxs that have showed up in the employee parkign lot. I think thought there for storage. But the thing is there full. Of what i dont know. But i bet it aint coaster track :)

I will be very upset if my parking space is replaced with intiamin track. Or ANY track for that matter.

There is no track anywhere to be seen at the park. The boxes that showed up in the employee lot this week are wooden crates that are not big enough to hold coaster track. But the crates could be holding pieces to a ride(they are nailed shut, with tarp over them). Still hoping, but hope is starting to fade...

I would be very surprised if we see a new ride next year. After my visit to the park today, I am left with little hope of a new ride. Nothing new appeared in the graveyard, with the exception of the fright fest decorations either being rearranged or taken out. No land clearing has taken place so far, and decorations are set up in the land where coaster most likely would have gone for the fright fest train. I also spoke with guest relations and the person in charge of season passes. Both said their it is highly unlikely we will see anything this year, and that it will be atleast another year until we see anything major. So that's the scoop as of October 19. Keep your fingers crossed, but it looks like SFStL will go yet another season without a new coaster (but if they could just rid the Boss of those g-trains, it would be like a new coaster!)

Well, I agree about the G trains, but now they have a few more problems with Boss.. Have you noticed the state of the track lately? When I was there in Sept, the track was totally rusted and dry. Now, the G trains make the ride bad, but the rusted dry track made it completely unbearable.

Well, I dug up some info this weekend on the "orange track" issue and I believe I got an answer as to where that track was heading.. I cannot say anything now, but it looks like SFSTL'ers will be disappointed yet again.

From what I heard, that track (possible impulse) was headed further east than St. Louis... Man, I hate delivering bad news... :(

I'm a Jay, Jay, Jay Jay Hawk!

Well perhaps it was going to SFKK or even FURTHER east.
please let it be for SFKK.....
Valleyfair (Shakopee, MN) is getting an Intamin Impulse next year, Steel Venom, did everyone forget about that?
But Valleyfair's impulse is not orange.

I guess a Drop Tower is still not out the question yet, or does everyone feel 2003 will be a bust for St Louis?
DON'T give up hope yet. ;)

I would be happy to give up a new coaster if it meant that the Boss and Screamin' Eagle would get some much needed work. Call me crazy but that is my preference.
