As far as the park being down in attendance, that is probably correct. The weather early in the year was terrible, which kept people away. Also, Labor Day Monday (the last "big" day of summer) was rained out - the park closed at 3:00 when it was supposed to be open until 8:00.

Now im not trying to start anything, i like the park as much as most. Ive been going there all my life and ive worked there for 6 years now and have moved up pretty high. I spend ALL summer at that place. All im saying is that when people make stupid accusations, especially the selling the park to AB, annoys me, because all of these statements are crap with absolutly no proof at all.

Anyway, i would like to see something new in sfsl, they need it but I would only expect to see a flat or two (they are desperately needed but..). Hopefully they get something big but just like every other park that is highly unlikely.

I just want to say now that most things i hear bosstl say are completly and wrong and are his own speculation. From what he has said about his affiliation with the park he has no access at all to any real information ESPECIALLY ones that deal with rides. Information like that is only kept for those that need to know, and not many people need to know other than the full time staff. Once things are official then the news travels down line and eventually gets out to the public. I first learned of Xcalibur in january, and i believe it didn't go public until late Feb. or march. Also all of this talk of six Flags doign poorly and being sold. Thats just people making up crap. I have seen no indications AT ALL to belive any of those stupid rumors.
Wow that one left a mark, i dont think I have ever been attacked that harsly. I would like to say in my own defence that most of the things I say I do not pass along as fact, rather as just mere speculation. Most of the things I post are only rumers and hear say that goes around the park.
In the past the only things I have ever been right on is some pittally $%#^, the scooby transformation (hey i was right on that a year before it opened.) and the Mr dreeze lap bars (I was only ahead of the game by like 3 months on that.). That "source" is now gone.
Next off I would like to clear up once and for all I DO NOT WORK FOR SFSTL I just merely work there as a supervisor for Observ. So we wont ever have too worry about me making any important desisions.
And who are you to yell at me, at least I add positivly into the discussion instead of attacking people. And besdies who are you. No names need to be said, jsut share with us your department and your job title.
Welp that is all. SFSL I have a slight feeling you know who I am, so that is probly why you went after me. After all it is a small park. And I am hated by a few (hundred) people out there

Now i like hearing rumors as much as the next person, thats why ive been reading and posting here for some time now. True i don't post alot, But i do read every single post that has to do with this topic.
As for me, my department and my job title, well id rather not say. you've probably seen me at one time or another. Im all over the park, mostly in the top half. I will be at the park working this weekend, ya might even see me. I never meant to offend anyone.

Edit: Ninja is Vekoma. It is still crappy, though, and very similar to the arrows. Sorry for the mistake.

As far as Shockwave comming to SFStL... If they do as nice of a job as they did with Xcalibur / Evolution it would be all right. The only bad part of Shockwave was the transition into the MCBR - fix that and you have a pretty good ride.
However, I see two big downsides to Shockwave comming here... 1) It would probably kill any hope of something good comming for the next several years, and 2) it would probably mean the Ninja would be gone. Considering that Ninja never has a line now, if there was a "bigger and better" version of it then no one would ever ride it.

I should know more in Feb. Which is when I am probly gonna be back in the park for the first time this year.
PS the sfstl website has been updated.
From Chicago, I will take on the mother road from the windy city to St. Louis. That mother road being the historic Rte 66.
Obviously once I get there, SFSTl will be on the agenda along with other St. Louis attractions.
My favorite MJ tune: "Billie Jean" which I have been listening to alot now. RIP MJ.
I have been to St. Louis and SFSTl before but did it via the highway.
