SF St. Louis - Anything going on??

All the rides should be going.

Theres a good chance it will be crowded, because of Joyfest. As far as spring break and schools being off. Well about a 1/3rd of the schools are off due to spring break, and almost all schools are off the 18th (good friday). I dont think it will be too bad, especially if the temps in the 50's. Hey has anyoen else notcied that there has been no advertisment for the park yet. Usally they start in about mid to late March.

Pass processing was yesterday and today (April 5 and 6) from 12 -5. Next Sat., April 12 is season pass day and the park is open from 12-5. Some sections of the park should be open and you can be one of the first people to ride XCALIBUR, almost guaranteed to be one of the rides open.
OK, i got a season pass for my birthday, but i am only 14. If i go to process it on the 12th, my parents arent going to let me in and wait for me, so my dad would come in, but would they let him, or should i call the park and ask?

Old arrows might be rough, but they are the most gorgous rides to date.

Oh just to let you all know, Xcalibur will be running on the 12, BUT WILL NOT BE having season pass people riding. If all goes well it will be open for opening day. And don't tell me otherwise cuz this is true
I will have photos up on Tuesday, if all goes well, on MiG

Bossstl, I guess I'll see you Tuesday at Xcalibur. I got to ride it today and it was hauling some major butt. I rode it 3 straight times and was ready for more. I recommend it to everyone coming to StL this year.

Greatest theme park ride: Steam train

May the Tommy G. Robertson live forever.

You jsut had to rub it in that you rode it before all of us. Well unfourtunatly I put in an application for the photo shoot, but reseived no call :(. So I wont be able to ride it until April 18th (cant make it to spring premire due to prom). Maybe this week I will get lucky while at work and they will be doing load testing. After all it is close to vending.

Thanks for the pictures Swoosh!!! You're awesome! The ride looks gorgeous! (In an amusement ride sort of way) Just a little question...I have a hard time telling which side of the park the ride "faces". I know it probably doesn't face one way, but where is the entrance/exit at? And where were those pictures taken from? I saw the little "Robin Hood"-type statue guy in one of the pictures, but I'm still a little confused. Well, I guess I'll be able to see it on Saturday! (Or even ride it!) Thanks again!

Wow I am truly suprised this is a Six Flags ride! Wow themeing! Six Flags and themeing and its not a Batman or Superman theme!!! OMG Its amazing what can be done with a ride if you invest a little mind Power & TLC into it! So yes, exactly where in the park is Xcalibur located? I need to know so I can straight to it and try it out. Now lets hope that the next construction we see at this park is a roller coaster! <G> = Grin Lets hope the construction turns out to be sumthing like this! http://www.rcdb.com/installationgallery594.htm?Picture=3 Dreaming Yes But Let Me Dream!

THE SCARIEST PART OF THE RIDE IS THE LIFT HILL!
The pictures were taken in the street area between season pass processing and that booth where you can record the videos. It is sitting on the spot where Great Escape arcade was at. The entrance on on the front side which is where the big Xcalibur sign is. The queue line wrapts aound the left side of the ride which is on the sherwood forest theater side. The exit is on the back which is on teh side of that dippin dots stand. It really is a cool thing to watch, i watched it go around all of last weekend, and will finally be getting to run it on saturday. So once again, unfortunatly no season pass people can ride it.
Yes that's right. I was standing right between the two buildings (the AP processing building and the video recording studio) when I took the pictures. They were doing extensive testing (on the ride) when I was up in that area.

I have a couple questions about the ride.

Last week when the ride was testing it was rotating first toward Friar Tuck's, but this week it is first rotating towards the bathrooms. Does anybody know if it can rotate either way at any time? Also, I thought that the ride was susposed to stall for a few seconds at the top, it is not stoping at the top at all, it just goes all the way around, anybody know why?
