Every time a accident accrues, everyone wants to jump to conclusions, it was the ride operators, no the maintenance, no the manufacture, no maybe riders. Or could it be a accident? No one will know until there is a investigation. And I love when people say that the rode the ride that had the accident and claim that they heard a funny noise, if you hear something wrong, why wouldn't you let the park personal know?

I was watching my local news here in LA and they said it was a Tilt-A-Whirl, i noticed it was a Chaos when they showed pictures, they didnt mention any serious injuries, they jsut said people were stuck on the ride

Hey Goober,
You said that the people that heard noises on Chaos should tell the park personel. Well telling the park personel doesn't always work. Look at the fatal accident that happened back in March of 2000 on the Wild Wonder roller coaster at Gillians Wonderland Pier, Ocean City, NJ. A mother and her daughter were killed because the train while going up the lift hill fell back down the lift hill, rounded a sharp turn and ejected both of them! The guest relations was told by many people like an hour before the fatal accident happened- that the ride was jerking violently back and forth while climbing the lift hill. No one did anything, they said they would but saying and doing are to different things! That whole thing probably would have been avoidable!! So people might have commented to MA before Chaos keeled over, but nothing was done!
Just hope for Michigan's Adventure sake it wasn't there mechanics error! More than likely it was just the ride itself that couldn't take the stress anymore! Chance rides will probably end up with a bunch of lawsiuts!!

TITAN CRAZED!!
That is true, but if someone does hear or see something like that, especailly if they are a park buff and knows a little bit about rides, should inform the park.

argghh! It sounds like Michigan's Adventure will be forking over some money. It looks like we may have to wait a while longer for improvements to that park.
This is horrible for the people involed, but i cannot believe how people think that the parks can monitror their own safety. Yeah, right, let the accidents continue to happen...... And this is NOT some carnival this happened at, or an old ride. Its time someone else intervines for consumer safety, the parks cannot do it.
