Rumors of the removal of GL's X-Flight

I'll actually be able to ride Villain again! I got pretty beat up after my last ride on it.

Woo hoo! Thats really cool, I hope they get it back in great shape and keep it that way.

Bill Spehn told me at the beginning of the season that Villain would get its love this winter when I told him it beat the crap out of me. And hey, the Canadians did a nice job on Wolf Kabobs, so I think the ride is in good hands.

Didn't they also do Blue Streak several years back? That thing *still* rides wonderfully.

They (M&V) have done magnificent work before, and continue to do so...DBH, Gwazi, Thunder Run, etc....the work on Cheetah was good, but with those trains, it was temporary in nature.

Yea that's good news wooden coasters are most the time crowd fav's and a new feel to the ride would be good. With the loss of XF they need to build up their coaters and re firnish them. Why just stop at Villain thay should re do all tha wood coasters their. I think the re firish is a good idea.

Sorry I ment lets stop having the discussion about where it should go until we see where it is going, since the reasons for/against all the CF parks have been thoughly discussed.

This confirmed re-tracking of Villian just adds to my (and many other peoples) philosophy that Cedar Fair are fixing Geauga Lakes problems one by one.

I'd say with this, most of the major problems have been or are in the process of being fixed. I assume Venom will be repaired in time... I hope (for guests sake, not mine so much).

It will be neat to what what happens with the park next season.

Now if we only had a detailed list of capital improvements/additions for 07, I'd be happy.

But the RWB project started before CF purchased it.

I thought it took 2 years to retrack RWB...

Cedar Fair bought in early 04, then winter 05 and winter 06 to retrack. Was there work done in winter of 04 before Cedar Fair bought it? If there was, I would guess it was very little.

I'll beat in 5 years the park will be turned around. With the way CF is fixing rollercoasters getting rid of rollercoasters, and making the park family happy will turn the whole park set up around and make it a whole new park.

the lifthill was first thing for reconfiguration for the G train, If you remember, Several times early in 04 the coaster did not run.

Step by step the coaster will be retracked. CF and GL will most likely do half a year.

Ok watch Cedar Fair send X Flight somewhere noone expects

I am rooting for MIA because PKI seems like the park is too big and the capacity for X Flight will bring 3 hour lines

PKI doesnt need a nother low capacity nightmare when they already have SOB.

Everyone knows that it's going to Cedar Point to replace Magnum, which is sinking.

X-Flight is lighter, so it won't sink in the same spot.

Since Magnum has sunk so much, it is technically no longer a hyper, so it can be installed at Geauga Lake for the next season and still be under the height requirement.

Duh.

For one Magnum is not sinking that was a April fools joke. Cedar pont isnt getting X-FLGIHT and gl will not get magnum duh.
