Renting the Puyallup Fair Coaster Thrill Ride

Well... again, why not contact Playland to see if ERT is indeed possible on Monday, the 26th(?). Whatever the date, I would like to try. I would love to see it all moved into the realm of possibility, but I don't know if CAC can be moved now. I think they already committed to the date?

I'd wager that changing the date for CAC is out of the question.

I nominate Rob to be in charge of contacting PNE about Coaster ERT on Monday night.

Anyone second this motion?

I second that motion!

Now the question is if Rob can take some time away from the studio this thing might happen ;)

Btw - I doubt M:TR could handle an hour of ERT lol!

I contacted PNE last evening by e-mail... I will post any info as things progress, hopefully positively. We are considering Monday, August 25th, correct?

I remember "breaking the Beast" on the nighttime ERT at CoastaCamp....after just a few rides, we came back the next morning to find that maintenance had taken the ride down for some *repairs*....

M:TR would go immediately back to SBNO status if it took THAT kind of a beating for an hour...;)

The CAC idea was more of a faint (desperate) hope to wrangle rides than a realistic proposal....reality not being *my strong suit*....:)

Yes, August 25th. You are correct, sir!

Corey beat me to the Mamoosh joke! ;)

Yeah, pretty much. Kevin Coley from RRC is the arranger for that, and he has already set that date with the park. He based that date upon the park being open later than it is in September, so ERT would run from 10 pm to 1 am, with probably warmer weather than we had for this year's CAC (BRRRRR!).

1am? Are you serious? Count me out. Too far away to make the drive worth it....:( I will just be waiting here in Seattle for you tired old folks to come home and eat some of Tomoko's soup!

I have decided to bow out of putting together the ERT on the Puyallup Fair Coaster TR. It is too much money and odds of attracting enough people to make financially feasible are slim to none.

Sorry guys:(

Rob, if there is anything I can do to help put together an ERT session on the PNE Coaster, let me know. Some night rides on the PNE Coaster would be awesome!

Gator - would M:TR actually be "standing" after that beating?? I think not! It would definitely need some "down-time" after that kind've ERT!
