PKI 2005 announcement set... enthusiasts invited!

That's going to BGT.
Wait...they're not removing oblivion? Are they? If so I must have missed that! (Or is it just a stupid rumor.)

BGT is getting a Diver, but it's not AT's. BGT announced before AT started having these problems. I also highly doubt AT's diver is on the market, let alone in any danger of being closed and/or moved.

Hobbes: "What's the point of attaching a number to everything you do?"
Calvin: "If your numbers go up, it means you're having more fun."

That's kind of what I thought!

Oops! I must've missed my ;) in the previous post. Sorry for the confusion :)
Let's look at the tiques location...1. Low ridership, 2. Only one side open, 3. Survey markers in the ground

The location MAY BE the tiques.

As for what the ride will do. Look for a coaster that starts indoors and launches, yes launces, you outdoors.

Prime location, good visuals from all sides. This idea sounds good.

By the way, I LOVED Revenge of the Mummy.

Ok im really going off topic here heh heh, but there is a **chance** it may have to be removed because of the locals.

Ok now back on topic............when did the dive coaster come to surface?

There are no bad coasters, only better coasters!!

I got a bad feeling PKI is going to let me down once again. The water park was a huge let down IMO and i think with the hype this year will be too. If its themed to the Italian Job then there is a possiblity its like Xcel. and TTD but i dont like the looks of whats shaping up as a local to PKI
How was the water park a "let down". From what I hear its always crowded and people really enjoy it. And personally, and this is just my opinion, but I highly doubt its gonna be nothing like Xcel. or TTD.

Whatever it is, I call a Flyerfest at 11:30 or imediately following what Jeff has in store for us.

We can discuss it there :) While waiting for the current best ride in the park :)

B&M - Flyer - bye,bye old fashioned cars - Sky Captain And The World Of Tomorrow - giant robots - very noirish.

...since we're all dreaming.

Hmmm. Let's see.

Starts at 10:30am.

Info should hit the net that morning...by...say 10:32am?

My thoughts exactly, Gonch. ;-) I can't wait to hear about it!

The water park dissapointment------- 1. The tarps over the slides look stupid. 2. the racing slides are not as fun as the old white slides, plain and simple. 3. All the other themeing they did was add colorful umbrellas and surf boards to the bathroom with words that u cant tell which room is men or womens (joke but it would IMO be better just to put men or women). 4. Nothing new to the old side of the park

the Improvements- 1. The funnel slide is good is look real cool but its short and not that great but good addition. 2. The new kids area is 2 thumbs up.

Overall improvement--before 5/10 now 6.5/10

with all the advirtising it was a let down for me, this is just my opinion.

Im dying for a smooth steel coaster

You guys are ALL wrong! PKI is buying back the Thunderbolt Express from Camden Park (for removal costs only) and re-renaming it the Screamin Demon! ;-)

<--------just dreaming

or even better King cobra is coming back.....

And they are bringing back The Bat! ;-)

I loved king cobra that ride was awesome, a shame they took it down. If it is a large coaster better be b&m or intamin (sp?)

I liked it "back in the day" as it was intense and new and the wait time was two hours tops. The helix I will NEVER forget. I sorta miss it but then again I am happy to have Delirium in it's place. :-P

-Tina

I always like the Que line for that. It was shaded, offered views of the ride, and was littered with Q-TV TVs.

Maybe it's been mentioned in this thread, maybe it hasn't, but isn't an Italian Job sequel in the works?? If so, there's your tie in.
