PKI 2005 announcement set... enthusiasts invited!

So, it sounds like people have "semi-confirmed" (take this lightly ;)) that:

1) The new ride will be placed where the Antique Cars are
2) The Antique Cars are moving from that location (are they gone? will they end up somewhere else in the park?)
3) The Flying Eagles are moving from that location and possibly ending up where Flight Commander or Skylab used to be
4) The ride will be themed (Italian Job? Mission: Impossible? Addams Family?)
5) The ride could be indoors and outdoors at times
6) The ride will be a coaster (Premier launched like Mummy? spinning coaster/mouse? hyper/giga? ;))
7) Most people are really excited about whatever this will be and we could be another step to Winterfest in 2005 :)

they already have flight of fear...y put in another premier attraction?
The same reason why SFGadv has 4 Beemers............

There are no bad coasters, only better coasters!!

A non-inverting forwards/backwards full-circuit launching coaster with 4-across seating* themed to something completely different that travels indoors and outdoors. I think guests will be able to handle both attractions and continue to keep Flight of Fear popular. I doubt anyone besides enthusiasts will know it's Premier or made by the same manufacturer as FOF.

Because it's actually different in many ways, Instead of a bang and totally kick ass ride, It may have changes of directions, Stops and starts, Themed show and sound durring the ride along with a section of Kickass ride. GETTAWAY!

Ok, I'll change my thinking to IJ and thats the third Idea change I've had in four days.

Chuck, who don't know if thats what it is or not but it sounds cool.

Oh. Well, PKI is on my list of parks to hit next summer so let's keep our fingers crossed.

Although a spinney mouse would be SWEET I am hoping for something a LOT more intense and a lot more insane, and NOT really family-oriented. Can't wait to find out!

HOLY CRAP! I can make it! WOW! Lets see if my friend and I can go..... It's about a 5 hour drive from Cleveland, so that means we need to leave by 4am... we can do it!

5 hours? It takes less than 4 for me going about 70 MPH from Cleveland to Mason on I-71.

Anyway, 8/12 is the last Thrill Seekers Thursday for Gold Pass members in 2004. If you have gold passes, you can get there at 9:00 am and get as many ride as possible in the Action Zone for an hour and head over to the Theater.

I have heard this idea a few times now and wanted to know if anyone could confirm one of the ideas. One rumor states that the tiques will be removed all together. The other is that the tiques are going to be relocated behind TR:TR. Can anyone confirm one of these rumors?
^Well, you have to confirm that the new attraction is going to be located where the Tiques are now before asking that question.

Id say survey stakes in the area is confirmation

I was at the park this morning and I didn't see any survey markers in the ground at the tiques or behind TR:TR. I don't know where you saw these stakes at?
my money is on the Addams Family coaster.

opps we went to war with the wrong country. Iraq/ Iran, anyone could have made that mistake.

How much? Wanna bet $20 it isn't?

NOTE: Severe fecal impaction may render the above words highly debatable.

The theming is a nice touch as long as it's a good coaster, but a Marky Mark ride? I'm hoping for something else. :)

Millennium Force Laps-169 **Vertigo Launches-21** Dragster Launches-53

This announcement would most certainly cause a run on tickets for a Winterfest. They would be selling the experience of winterfest we would be going for the pictures of progress of the new ride.

I'm sorry but I just can't see the correlation between Boogie Nights and MINIs...

NICK I know I won't be leaving here with you
LOL, yup, nothing "mini" about "lil' markey mark" in that film. Though it was a prostetic...

Marky Mark? I thought I had mentally blocked that out, along with the Spice Girls and Vanilla Ice.

Now if it's a Spice Girls-themed ride I am protesting!

Oh the horror............:-(
