PKI 2003- Symbol on the Fence?

I've not seen the symbol on the fence surrounding the KC site, but I've been hearing a lot about it lately and was wondering if anyone had any ideas on what its hinting at for the 2003 season. Some have said a Huss Frisbee, but others have said a shoot-em-up ride like MIB at USF, or the Scooby Doo Haunted Houses at PC and PCW. So, what does everyone think?
I think it will be a Wild Mouse named Ricochet
Oh, wasn't thinking of that one, but I think you might have hit the target dead on! :)

It's just the "Action Zone" logo, isn't it? I found nothing outstanding or interesting about it.

I doubt they would put a Scooby Doo Ghostblaster Ride in Action Zone. I thought they might be re-theming Phantom Theater into the Scooby Doo ride. Anyways I heard Shaggy said that the symbol of the target is the biggest hint the park will give so I guess it obviously means something.

You can see the picture of the symbol at pkizone.

All I got out of it was that the new attraction would be apart of the "Action Zone" and not "Octoberfest."

Welcome back riders, hope you've enjoyed your ride, push down and then pull up on your lap bars and exit to your right, walk down the exit ramp and enjoy the rest of your day here at Paramount's Kings Island

I hadn't seen the logo before and I don't know if it is the AZ logo or not. From what I understand, it was supposed to be a big hint at something and I think Jeff said it to someone at CBCon that it was. I don't know why they would put the AZ logo on the fence if you can see it on the actual sign. I don't remember it having an X on it anyway.
Here is a link to a photo that I had shot last year of the "Action Zone" entrance sign.

I doubt that it will be a wildmouse names Ricochet, doesnt seem to fit inb the AZ
I think if PKI wanted whats best for the park and what the public would like best they should avoid a mouse and go with a different type. Even if it meant not building a coaster next year they could build one in 2004 that is bigger. A mouse has a lower capacity and to me doesnt seem like the type of people at PKI would like. Just like TR:TR, I think its a fine ride but it just seems the general public at PKI don't like it. At a lot of other parks more I think more poeple would like TR:TR. I think the same goes with a wild mouse.
I'm sorry PKI, a Scooby Doo ride??? Man, c'mon why don't they put a good BIG STEEL COASTER. Doggone, the got a damn JUNIOR INVERTED and stuff for the kids. And then they wasted their money on a Top-Spin with theming.(shakin head). They just took out a coaster why not replace with something better??

Shell, have you ridden Tomb Raider? That is no "Top Spin with theming". Its more than that. Its an experience that should be partaken in. Theres more to a great ride than just being fast and tall and coasterlike.

Hey man. Wanna buy some weed? Crack? Freepass on Millennium Force? I got the hook up...

Shell, I am sorry for this but I have to make a point:

IF YOU HAVENT RIDDEN TOMB RAIDER: THE RIDE, DO NOT BAD MOUTH IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

One of the reasons I do not like posting online is because of all the people who think "Oh this park didnt get a coaster, they improved their family environment and put in something that fits into the area. For this the park SUX and I will never go to it again." So just think of the park overall next time, not just as a coaster enthusiast.

PS. Sorry for those who I offend or get mad at people ranting. I just got off a double working SOB/TG on 4 hrs of sleep with people who couldnt figure out why i wouldnt dispatch a train because the exit ramp gate wasnt shut

A Wild Mouse or flat ride or Scooby Doo Dark Ride on the old KC Site...Cripes, I hope not. This park needs a hyper steel coaster and there's plenty of land on this site utilizing the back woods as well.

Paramount would stick a Scooby Doo Haunted Mansion anywhere in the park. They don't have much regard for theming. At Carowinds, it is in the Country Crossroads section instead of Hanna Barbera land, along with about everything else that does not carry the original hillbilly theme. Seems like that spot would be good for a wild mouse though. The park desperately needs a flat ride package.

If we don't(and we probably won't) see a hyper steel coaster in 2003, I have a strong feeling the park will add one in 2004 since its about the only coaster territory they haven't covered yet. They have every type of wood coaster I can think of(hyper twister looper, terrain, racing out-and-back, junior coaster classic), several types of steel(mine train, suspended, junior suspended, inverted shuttle looper, junior inverted, kiddie steelie, mega looper, indoor launched looper,...), and a normal non-looping huge steel coaster seems to be the best option. To focus on families, a lot more people will go on non-loopers than loopers and there's usually a lot of interest in really high coasters, so it seems like a good bet with B&M or Intamin quality getting the coaster up and running on time. Anyways, that's what I think of it.

While the park could use some new flat rides, which would fit especially well into Action Zone to give some variety away from the coasters, I don't think the park is desperate considering they have a lot more than several other parks. Counting all the flats in HB, I think they have around 25 or so. Plus they have the three water rides, Phantom Theatre, FX Theatre, Drop Zone, TRTR, and Waterworks, so I really doubt most people would become bored before the day was over. I wouldn't mind a couple of those extreme rides they put into PCW lately though and see how much attendence would turn out because of those additions. I think they're cheap enough to at least give one a try and if 2003 is kind of an off year, I have a feeling that's what they'll do.
