Phantasialand does it again. Massive new Project/Intamin Multi Launch with incredible theming coming

Yes, I (for one, at least) would appreciate it if you'd please keep us up to date with this awesome looking project.

One question. Where's the trees? The charm?

Phantasialand is on my bucket list. It's even fun to say!

Taron and Klugheim are part of the "Mystery" Area in the park. It is supposed to be dark, maybe dull and dangerous. If you look at the trailer in my first post, not that many trees, but I am sure they will plant some.

I trust Phantasialand in knowing what they do, although we have no clue on what they are doing, lol.

If you want charme and happyness, Chiapas/Mexico area, Black Mamba/Africa and of course Wurze Town with some crazy spinning coasters are there. This Park is interesting, not the best in the World, but up there...

Phantasialand itself took adventage of the beautiful weather in the past weeks to show us some new perspectives of there project.

I never thought a mess of steal could look sexy, but wow...

Can not wait to experience this

According to the Newsletter that went out this week, we can walk several levels of the mountains. Hopefully not this way. I am stoked to see what they do.

Some more pictures just for fun

Question towards the experts here as I am getting confused by this mess. The footer on the right, do they really plan on adding 3 track segments on this one?

Somehow they will build the village of Klugheim in this mess (plus a second coaster, not confirmed, but to many Vekoma footers that do not belong to the main ride)

Greetings from Cedar Point and Maverick

New chimney smoking, I am down with that!

RCMAC asked for more green in a previous post, we will get it!

New tracks have been added.

I love to follow this project as it is a big puzzle. Nobody knows what the tunnel they are digging is for, how are they putting a village in this, the second coaster(?). Questions after Questions. It is just fun to not know what they are doing.

Edit, because I have to credit phantafriends.de for all the pictures (more on there Website)

No, the bottom connection will be for another support section. The top and middle could both be for track, and probably are, looking at the placement of the support on the left.

It could also be for a cross beam, though that would be a little bit weird for just one section of track. I don't know about Intamin, but I've never seen B&M connect more than 1 track piece to a support structure. On the S:UF clones it almost seems like they went out of their way on the turn under the lift to not reuse existing support columns.

Hobbes: "What's the point of attaching a number to everything you do?"
Calvin: "If your numbers go up, it means you're having more fun."

Thanks MaxAirMike and Apollo Andy, of course it makes sense now that you explained it that the lower part will be a extension for the footer.

Just not a big fan of these cookie-cutter coasters.

What is cookie cutter about this coaster? I am really curious to that answer

It's cookie cutter sarcasm that is prevalent on enthusiast message boards.

I thought it was hilarious! Come on. Laugh a little. :D

Enthusiast have humor? LOL, I had a long week, guess my sarcasm radar was way off. Now of course it makes sense and indeed the post was rather funny.

Oh they are just so witty in Ohio.

Couple of new pictures from phantafriends.de

Taron can not hide anymore, we can see you...

New tracks have been placed, nice airtime hill and some twisty fun

New track going underground/into the tunnel (not the second tunnel we do not know what it is for)

The village of Klugheim is taking shape. How we are at the end navigate thru this mess of steel is anyone's guess

You know that you are not at Six Flags when a park is theming there coasters transfer track like this

New construction started by River Quest (Rapid Ride), what is it for? Nobody knows

Phantasialand keeps on theming pretty much every footer.

More new theming

A lot happend in the past week. I am off to Spain for some sun, but I will keep an eye on this project. Phantasialand will close after Halloween and us coasternerds expect the Park to add a lot of there "secrets" (2nd coaster maybe, we still do not know why they are digging the second tunnel e.t.c.)to the area during that time before opening for the Christmas Season

"off to Spain for some sun" . I wish I could say that.

@RCMAC, Tappasfestival in Madrid, €1 Tapas/€1 Beer, 80 Restaurants participate in a more urban area, music on the streets, I can not pass that up,lol.

Plus Iberia get's you there for under €100 roundtrip. It is getting cold in Germany, so I need some fun, I mean sun! Plus Madrid is quite a nice town. No coasters, but I will be spinning somehow, lol

Parque de atracciones is about 10 minutes from Sol on the metro. Fun to be had until 1am on their crazy Intamin inverted and awesome Maurer spinner. I was there in July.

Nothing to see here. Move along.

@Rick_UK, I just went for the food and hanging out with friends. Next time, I have to check out the park.

Today, Germany and Poland celebrated the end of trackwork on Taron(Poland because it is where the workers come from)

EDIT: Turns out this is not part of the train, but a pull thru test-carriage

Phantasialand will close after Halloween for 3 weeks to get ready for the Christmas season. Testing might start during that time, but we can not take pictures when the park is closed. A lot has happend in the past two weeks. I will try to post one more update before the season is over.

Can not wait for 2016!

Phantasialand is now closed for 3 Weeks in preparation for the Winter Season which means no more pictures :-(

So, these are the last pictures and it is expected that the Park will go full force during the break in regards of construction.

Let's start with the cookie cutter coaster madness

The village of Klugheim is taking shape

Attention to detail is a German stereotype, but it comes thru at Phantasialand. They even change little ornaments within a week

The rumored entrance to the coaster(which I do not believe) is being build.

Last, but not least an overview of the project(Yes, some coasternerd rented a plane to take pictures, lol)

(All pictures courtesy of phantafriends.de and Freizeitparknrw.de)

I'll be staying and lodging at the park for 3 days come Christmas(and wow, it is expensive, lol), expect more pictures next month!

Last edited by Alexatucla,

Phantasialand surprisingly released some off season pictures today and Taron is looking good. The park will reopen for the Winterseason on Saturday. New pictures sure will follow. Maybe there will be answers to the second coaster in this mess or what the second tunnel is for and how to navigate thru the village of Klugheim as I have no idea.

Edit because somehow the secretive park discovered social media and sent out a part 2 video
