Time for a update: Taron in action
The village of Klugheim is taking shape(there is still a lot to do, I expect a opening for summer break in July)
Both Lift hills of the family boomerang coaster Raik have been enclosed and the 12 year old Riverquest rafting ride got a major theming upgrade to match Klugheim
Little theming elements all over the area
Close up of the trains(I love the theming)
Here you can see some of the walkways and get an idea on how to navigate thru all this mess of steel and the village
Front of the train
Friendly folks you will meet while riding Taron
Plenty of head choppers with the track even going thru some buildings
Phantasialand is really building a full village
Testing started, but there is still a lot to do in regards of the theming and if that is not enough, the park started already on there next big project/construction. The Race for Atlantis/Epcot Style building is history and opens up an area that is as big as the Klugheim area. Who knows what will come next....

Sorry. A POV is the closest I'll ever get to any park more than a day's drive. I can barely afford to drive back and forth to work, 15 minutes away, yet alone fly to an amusement park in another country. It was a nice gesture though.
That's why I love the internet so much. I can experience at least a little culture.

The park released a official testing video. It looks like so much fun....
Additional info: There will be a 4 train operation. Two trains on the track, two loading/unloading
They are testing different wheels and slowly adding the intensity of the two launches, so what you see in this video is not the final speed.
No information on an opening date(I still think summerbreak/July)
Just look at all of the inaccessible places it could stall! :)

Been following this for long time. Looks very exciting! Cannot wait to see more videos. Only question I have is, do guests need to wear kneepads when riding? From those new photos, there doesn't look like much room! I know Intamin coasters aren't known for being roomy. But this looks like a lot less. :)

@Jeff, you do not joke with the German TÜV, they stopped the train at any possible place it could stall and see how you could evacuate the guests. I do not want to spam your website with those pictures as they are rather boring.Phantasialand knows what they are doing, I am not worried and I will ride this opening day !
@Coffinboy , I do not think the trains are that much different vs Maverik for example, I am not an expert, so I do not know, but they look fine to me
Yeah, I'm just taking a stab at Intamin because, well, they deserve it.
I'm honestly also not really at all interested in the ride.

^I'm going to have to go ahead and ask for your name and IP address... Some guy named Sandor is asking for it. Something about libel or something.
^You mean you're going to make them Accesso-ble.... ;~)
You still have Zoidberg.... You ALL have Zoidberg! (V) (;,,;) (V)
At the 1:04 mark in the video the train is entering a section of brakes. Just before the video cuts it looks like there is quite a bit of shaking in the seats. Anyone else catch that? Is that something that is seen in other similar rides?
I think it's snapping into the brakes from a hard banked turn - kind of like Raptor when it goes into the final brake run. I can't seem to find a good video of that anywhere..
The restraints appear to be the same ones as on Skyrush, which to me were pretty roomy/adjustable, but so painful that it makes this ride a bit less appealing to me. A little tiny bit. I'd still hop the pond if I could afford it and hit this up immediately, but I'd probably go into it scared about the pain.
