At least its on the way home, Jim. I used to drive all the way out to SFMM to see Riddler, Goliath, Viper, and a few others be built and testing. That's at least 40 miles...*one way* ;)

It's a day trip for me to get to Branson from up here at Kirksville (Truman State). However I am almost done with this school and will soon be at good 'ole MU for my masters program (MIZ-ZOU) ;) Then I will be halfway between all the parks in MO.

Darn it I wish I had thought to contact you Jim about being at Silver Dollar City Tuesday, gosh it was SO cool being on Wildfire again, we were there when they dropped the chains and managed to make it to the front row for the first lap of the season, wow I missed Wildfire, we ended up on it 10 times before the day was over. Anyone going to be there Friday? looks like what I have seen of the weather so far Saturday will be a washout :( I have Friday off so I think I am going again :)

Yep, I'm swamped with homework and studying so this weekend is a "no-go." I will be going to KC to validate my passport, but other than that, no "parking" this weekend. I almost need a break (is that possible) for awhile after my whirlwind tour last week in O-Town. I have some things I need to catch up on. I think I might be there next week's Thursday for a bit (photo update thing), but other than that - nope :(

I'd like to clarify that I was not offering tours of the OW, but of the office in Sunbury. I suggest that if you are interested in a tour of the office, that you call the office and schedule one.

I don't mind getting online and posting to the forum, but I do mind being quoted as offering tours of the ride/site.

I don't think it was an email from you, Bill...

Jeff said that it was some kid who emailed him saying something to the effect of: "Hey, Jeff...Andrea said that you would give me a tour of the OW, so my dad and I are going to be in Branson on Saturday. What time should we show up?"

Like I said, I don't mind posting here, but just don't want to be quoted as saying something I didn't say.

Anyhow, other than that, the ride is looking great, and we're all really excited about it! We can hardly wait to ride! (May 9th)

Phew, haha... That is so awesome that it is looking good!! I can not wait either... I wish someone could get SDC to remove that billboard.. Those would be some awesome pictures if it wasn't in there!

Jeff Mast and I just got back from Branson, be sure to watch www.ThemeParksOnline.org for photos of Celebration City coming in a couple days. Photos were shot inside the park and include the Ozark Wildcat train and more!

I see how it is you two (Jeff and Jim), you go off on a photo tour and don't let me know that you got clearance. I could have gone, I had the day off - and I used to be part of TPO, well I am still, sort of.

Hmmm...I think I have seen shots from that angle before (the 3/18 pics). Isn't it convient to have that tower up there on that hill? When will the "in park" photos be up?

Swoosh - actually we were there setting up ACE events for the rest of the year. (July & Dec.) and the park gave us a tour and let us shoot some shots. Almost got Clair to 'fire' up the cat :( (oh well have to wait patiently for a couple weeks) Photos from today will be up be monday sometime (maybe sunday even) Sorry for any confusion.
