That's all right. I think we may be at SFStL the following weekend for AP:ERT day. Sometime we should meet up at SDC/CC, since I am a AP holder there as well.

Do you bleed Blue?

Well we ended up not going to WOF (the weather really stunk), we instead opted to go to SFStL and get our passes processed. The thing that came as a surprise was getting to go back to the construction area of Xcalibur and getting to check that out. They were running it too so that made it even cooler. Pics soon, themeing is wonderful, best I've seen in a SF park for awhile.

Thats good, SFStL needed some good themeing

Wow this is so awesome! I had no idea there were so many coaster enthusiasts here in Missouri! Well this is just wonderful! Now I'm not going to have to visit theme parks alone anymore! lol Anyways I'm new here. My name is Nathan I'm 17 and I live in Jefferson City Missouri! It would be totally awesome to meet up with some of you all at SDC,CC,WOF,SF.SL whichever.

Anyway back to topic. I think that OW is going to totally rock! This thing is beautiful. Do we have an official opening date for OW yet? If so when is it? I mean you can't go wrong when SDC Inc. and GCI join forces!

THE SCARIEST PART OF THE RIDE IS THE LIFT HILL!

Hi Nathan, Yep, there are quite a few coaster entrepeneurs in MO. The latest I head on OW's opening is when the park opens on May 1st. The coaster is already operational and has been testing quite a bit. The MiG gang plans on maybe going to WOF this weekend (it is is nice), you could meet us there if you want to.

Well I can't go to WOF this weekend I wish I could but I have to work. Hey also Swoosh I have been to your web site and I was wondering what web designer you use? Yesterday I registered www.VekomaHurts.com I have a host and I am just waiting for it to transfer. The problem is I don't know scratch about actually building a site. I know what I want to do and its not fancy. Its very basic actually. So what do you use? Thanks.

Nathan

Nathan, OW has already been taking some riders on it so it will be readyt on May 1st as long as it doesn't brake down.

Bird Watching is Awesome I spoted this awesome bird of prey

Go down to get my OW uniform this evening:)
Rock wall for laser show was about 75% done as of saturday. Theming and landscaping is looking great. Park is scheduled to open May 1 with some soft openings before that.

Well I started out with a template from elated.com, and then I adapted it to fit my needs. Really it looks nothing like the template that I started with, but they have some really neat "free" templates there you can use. The thing is, you are still going to have to do a lot of "htmling" yourself. The best way to learn that is trial and error. I basically taught myself, and have been doing this since I was 13 or 14, I think. My first sites were really terrible - I think I finally have something that works.

Later and good luck - if you have any other questions, email me at thirtytwoproductions@hotmail.com

Wild cat looks great.....thunderbolt also looks like a intense ride as well. I cant wait to visit this park someday.
I am like you, didn't get tickets (I have my all city pass for what thats worth on this deal probably) but I was told it was an open deal limited to a certain number of people and to be there in line early if I want to get in, one nice thing if I don't get in, its off to ride the fire at SDC
CCity's media day (last I heard still on May 9th) is a little different from most media days as the park will be open for business that day. The park is going to decide how many enthusiasts they want and how to pick them for the media portion of the day. So my "I plan on being there" statement is that I will A) go to the park as a regular guest B) be working at the park that day or C) attend the media portion as a member of ACE depending on how the park picks attendees. We can make it an un-official event(un-event?) and all meet up at CCity and look around and ride. Let me know if anybody has a meeting time and place in mind and we can set something up and get word out about the un-event.

Info on the media portion will be on www.ACE18.org as soon as ACE Heart of America Regional Rep Jeff Mast gets word from the park.
