There are plenty of instances when you enter something and can't get back in without a ticket, but there are also other times when you can like when you go see a movie. But the main problem I see? People have been allowed to re-enter amusement parks since the idea of gated admissions first came about decades ago, and now suddenly they can't. People are going to want to know why, and even if they're given a good reason, they're still not going to be happy about it.
It's funny how some people are bringing up the concept of buying a new ticket to get back into an event that you left. You're not allowed to leave because there's fear you're going to go to your car and get stoned or drunk and try to get back in... but if you do that and willingly shell out more money to get back in, it's perfectly okay?
"Your eyes are all bloodshot and you're walking funny. You can't come back in, you're a security risk."
"But I'm going to buy another ticket!"
"Come right in, sir."
