NEW SDC RIDE CONCEPT SURVEY! WOW!

Did anybody besides me point out their contempt for SLC's, and praise of B&M Inverts, in the comments section of the survey?

Didn't Dollywood (another SDC property) already have and get rid of an SLC (Hangman)? Anybody know why? Maybe that experience was enough to rule out Vekoma...

Hangman was at Opryland USA which was run by Gaylord not SDC Inc/HFEC. Do not believe that Dollywood has ever had an SLC.

If the prices we've seen recently for SLCs are *near* correct, a Talon clone is a WAY good bargain in comparison...(esp. considering that said copy wouldn't necessarily need the soundproofing that Talon did)....

gator's sig will not be operational today....we regret any inconvenience....
Does anyone know what happened to hangman? is it the same hangman that is at Wild adventures?
Hangman is now Kong at SFMW.

Dont worry, anything that they will put in at SDC will be custom. So there will not be a clone coming to the Ozarks.

Bill, who thinks we might have another GCII in the Ozarks next year... maybe

Any ideas about CC's expansion?

Hopefully I am wrong, but, do not think we will see a wooden coaster over at SDC in 2004 so that CC still can market the OW next year bigtime. Maybe the eagle sanctuary in 2004?
If/when SDC gets an inverted or any other B&M it would most likely have the soundproofing like Wildfire does.
Going to be interesting to see what all CCity adds and changes for next year.

I went to SDC yesterday, and I know there was always a little area to the west of Wildfire where there is a little shack/house thing. But it looks to me that there are more trails that lead further west than there have been the past year or so... would this mean anything? Also, there is a smaller form of a crane there. But I almost remember that from last year.

I couldn't tell how far back they went because of all those darn trees.

I tried to take a picture, but the ride was going to fast for my camera.

And by the way, have there always been trim brakes on the drop of Wildfire, near the bottom?

Any news from the Midwest Coaster Blast?

I don't want to be sad! Well at least WOF is adding something! Of coarse knowing how much they hate us it will probly be an SLC! UGHH!

THE SCARIEST PART OF THE RIDE IS THE LIFT HILL!

That's wrong.

I lied.

No, it won't be an SLC - however you might be thinking a little "too" big.

Well I still have the sneaking suspicion that one of those especially the glider may be an Arrow Acrobatic. Who knows but whatever SDC does is sure to impress!

I just got an e-mail from Crystal Boulware, one of the PR directors from SDC, and she said they dont know anything about new rides.

Maybe Thats just a cover ;)

Lisa is who you need to talk to. She is the one who handles all the ACE events and such and was the one who conducted the CC tour last December for ACE.
