Forgot about that. Speaking of which, what is that area currently themed as?
I believe it's where the Hurler's are now at carowinds and kings dominion
Disk-os and super loops are my favorite coasters.

Yeah, that answers the question.

It comes up as being in Thrill Zone at Carowinds and closed for the season at Kings Dominion but apparently in Candy Apple Grove...
...either of which being an improvement to an area themed to 1970s Aurora, Illinois in deference to the Wayne's World movie. I enjoyed my first rides on Hurler at KD years ago but the idea of a ride/area themed to a 1970s suburb escaped me....

"Over the river and through the woods, to the train house you'll go..."
Assuming that hint isn't a complete lie and fabrication with no purpose other than randomly screw with everyone (something the good folks at Kings Island aren't above), this should offer the answer as to the general direction of the layout.

I got an idea! Maybe that expression means, you'll cross the river and through the woods, and then pass the train house where the KI & MV railroad rest their trains during the night.
So since I made an obvious comment a couple days ago, just wanted to know If anyone has been to Kings Island recently and seen the construction? I'm going next weekend for sure!

Wait, so the local news is tracking and reporting on the park;s twitter account, but not digging through the public records to discover the layout we're already aware of?

I'm guessing they're reporting on what's "officially" available to the public. Not on "leaked plans" that could very well be the park joking with the enthusiast sub-culture. For all we know, the news station asked about those plans and were told not to report them.
Because we all know that the network news cannot afford to look stupid if they are Wong about Sum Ting.
Or we could just actually look at the link and see that the article says:
"WLWT did confirm a foundation permit was approved by the City of Mason. After examining plans, WLWT asked Dennis Speigel, president of International Theme Park Services, to help explain what we're seeing."
...and includes a bunch of images of what was filed including the layout we've seen.
I've heard that there are footers on site. I don't have pics, but I did hear that they are there.
Hey, let's ride (random Intamin coaster). What? It's broken down? I totally didn't expect that.
They weren't there Sunday.

Can someone answer my question please? Fudge!
Absolutely.
No, I haven't.
Didn't mean to sound rude on here, but at the same time I thought people were ignoring my original post. Sorry everyone.
Have fun this weekend, and look for anything you can. Then come back and you can tell us what's there. Deal?
Ps. I saw somewhere on another site (I can't remember, maybe YouTube?) a picture of what they said was a footer. It's by a metal fence, so maybe it's near the new path to WWC. Good luck.
