Most anticipated ride for 2013

^^ It is now my life's mission to be at Great Adventure sitting in the back seat of El Toro as often as possible. And I'll no longer move over. >:P heh...

I wonder if I've ever actually seen you there. I normally wouldn't climb over someone to get the seat, but maybe I'll make an exception..for you :)

I actually didn't go last season. At all. The year before I only went 2 times or so. My job was very demanding and I never had any hours to myself. I look forward to going quite frequently this year.

I don't know when my next visit will be, but I expect to go June 16..whatever guys Mick Jones is calling (and paying to be) Foreigner these days will be there Fathers Day.

Tommy, Are you sure we are not the same person?

As long as you're not porking my wife, I'm glad *someone* on this board agrees with anything I have to say... haha.

Mike, I wanna buy a CoasterBuzz T-shirt so I can maybe actually wear it and find other Buzzers.

I don't think anyone has to worry about me stealing their wife anytime soon. ;)

Bunky, I think that the meeting calendar would benefit you. I don't use it very often, because sometimes I don't want to meet people at a park. for various reasons. I have had my share of stalkers in the past, for example, and sometimes it's just not a good idea for me to advertise where I am going to be for an entire day. lol

People should use it a lot more though.

That's funny, I've used the meeting calendar nearly every time I've visited a park, and short of the club events, I've never run into a soul from here.

I don't understand why. People must be turned off by my frolicsome, super happy fun demeanor.

Ever noticed that Kause says the words "People should use it a lot more" a lot when talking about a coasterbuzz feature? I've seen similar words about 2 or 3 times.

The funny thing is, I created that feature to replace the "roll call" forum we had at launch. The calendar's use varies by year, but it got more use when this version of the site launched, and profiles were linked to it.

I've used the calendar a few times, but usually my trips are unplanned, spontaneous things, so it doesn't usually pan out.

I just used the Calendar for the first time, but I have no idea if I did it properly.

I came *thisclose* to saying that myself (i.e., "I don't think you need to fear Travis going after your wife") - but decided on discretion. Just this once...don't expect the same in the future, LOL.... ;~)

Happy Friday everyone!

I've met some cool people from the meeting calendar. It's funny how people come across totally different in person than they do online - a good thing! I've been happily surprised most of the time.

I honestly think people usually have LESS of a filter online, and that's why they say the things they do while they're on the site. I'm actually MORE filtered in that in person I drop the f-bomb quite frequently and talk much more about many more topics (although coasters are still up there). I'm a little hyperactive, actually. :) I'm a nice girl though...don't let the foul mouth fool you. *laugh*

I never talk about coasters outside of CoasterBuzz. Oh and even though I'm a jerk here, I am almost as nice as Billy in person. ;)

For me, coasterbuzz gave me an outlet to exert the coaster passion I have had for awhile. Just like kause has said earlier times, none of my friends talk about coasters. I'm known as the nerdy 4.0 gpa student who just likes roller coasters.

^Yup, me too. Me and my pals spend time talking about our grade point averages and math. If any of you were wondering whether or not I was I was already out of college by now, there you have it. And I'm sure it didn't surprise you. I just happen to ride coasters a lot. Also, I know I typed in my coaster count as "179" once. It was a typo, and I tried to fix it, but I forgot where it was. It was supposed to read "79."

You don't need a parachute to jump out of an airplane. You need one to do it again.
