Most anticipated ride for 2013

Sure do miss those old days (not sure whether Jeff does or not, I'm sure he got a few complaints).

It was fine for a few lulz, but it got a little out of control at times to the extent that it annoyed people not in that inner circle. It was like being the GOP, claiming to be inclusive but no one really can tell what they were thinking.

Aww. You blew it.

If you had just stuck with your 14-word manifesto of crazy, dropped the mic and walked off, you'd have at least been an asshole we remembered.

But instead, you had to come back and go for more and you overplayed your hand, reducing your legacy to that of just another forgotten, faceless asshole who couldn't handle the game.

We had such high hopes for you. Thanks for playing.

It is critically important to know how/when to properly "drop the mic." Under no circumstances are you supposed to walk back on stage and pick it up....ever.

Spoiler Alert Much?! Some of us are only on Season 2...Jeez.

Really sorry, Tek. Believe me, the LAST thing I would want to do is ruin someone's enjoyment of my favorite show.

And seriously, at least Captain Obvious isn't still here, he'd just bully everyone he didn't like till they stopped posting or finally stood up to him(In which case he'd go back and edit a closed thread a month later to make himself look right). So be glad some things have changed around here.

Something we can both agree on. An enemy of my enemy is my friend.

About the Walking Dead Spoiler, just because someone gets shot doesn't mean that they will or will not die. Perhaps that will help you a little? The Walking Dead is the best show on TV right now, by the way!

Obviously, you're not familiar with The Chica Show.

Hi

The Walking Dead was amazing until episode 2 of Season 1.

Whys that? I'm at the end of the second season and still love it.

Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened.

Vater, TWD has peaks and valleys (much like a roller coaster), but I'd give it another chance. Just when you get lulled into a sense of security, you are smacked in the head with a new and shocking development. I stopped watching at the same time you did originally, but now I anxiously await season 4 along with everyone else.

Never said I stopped watching. This season got better toward the end, and I'm hoping (sort of, I don't really care that much) that next season will be better because (without giving too much away) the most irritating character is finally dead.

That's my main problem with it. The writing is ok, but about 80% of the characters annoy the hell out of me.

But the pilot was excellent. I think it should have been (and kind wish it was) a standalone film.

I kind of agree with you about annoying characters, and definitely that the most annoying one is finally gone. I think though that there is gonna be a massacre of important characters soon, so maybe they'll get better with the new crop. *laugh*

Also without give much away, I really liked both of the male characters who died on the show recently, both for different reasons. I was hoping the ...You know, it's impossible for me to say what I want without giving any of it away, so I wont.

I love this show a lot. None of the characters annoy me at all. I am accepting of their flaws and have high hopes for them until perhaps they die. They always do things that take me by surprise, and the drama in world such as theirs is what keeps me so intrigued.

The Chica show? I accidentally saw a few episodes of that. Great voice acting and puppet-work, whether you are kidding or not.

What is getting to me is characters who are waking up or transitioning to better people are dying off. It seems just as someone has an epiphany or does something redeeming, they're done for.

At least Dexter's coming back early so I have something to watch during the wait for TWD.

Walking Dead is pulpy fun, and I enjoy it for what it is, but I'd stop short of saying it's excellent television or anything. The flatness of the acting and character development is just a hurdle too far. The last eight episodes of Breaking Bad, on the other hand, are my most anticipated of the remainder of the year. Mad Men kicks back in on Sunday, so all will be right in TV land soon...

I have yet to see a single episode of Breaking Bad. Looks great, but just haven't done it. I've gotta get all the seasons on Netflix so I can catch up before the end of the final season.

The coolest looking attractions to me are Outlaw Run and Iron Rattler. Sadly I doubt I'll be getting to those rides anytime in the near future. So my most anticipated rides for 2013 are all the big things coming to Orlando. In order of my excitement level - Fun Spot expansion (White Lightening, etc.), Antarctica, and Transformers.

Now there's a show that jumped the shark. Season 4 was the pinnacle. I'm planning to watch this season only because it's the last.

Also, I'm happy Breaking Bad is ending, as I expect one more season would all but guarantee a water skiing Fonz to close in on that great white.

Last edited by Vater,

I will give you that there are places Dexter should have never ever EVER gone, but I continue to like Dexter himself and wonder if he will get out of trouble.

Ya, I'm over Dexter. it's the same thing over and over.

Breaking Bad, OTOH has evolved and stayed nothing but fresh. Much like the greatest TV show of all time, Lost, BrBa is ending at an appropriate time, without dragging into ridiculousness.
