Mom not pleased with Playboy bunny logo poster as amusement prize

Posted | Contributed by Junior

Kristine Severn said her son, Trevor, won a Playboy bunny logo poster while playing a dart game last Friday on a field trip to Oaks Park, an amusement park in southeast Portland. When her son brought it home, she called Oaks Park and asked why an 11-year-old would be given the poster. Severn said she received the run-around and that Oaks Park told her that they do not run the games.

If Moosh has ever had Playboy in front of him, I'm willing to be he was just reading the articles.

Never considered that I might be a hippie, Josh. That explains almost everything...almost.

Hah! That certainly explains why it took you so long to come around on the fact that people are stupid. :-D

Yeah, even the original hippie around here could recognize people are stupid before LostKause, the uber-hippie, did. :)

So Moosh, let's liven things up around here. Have you ever read an issue of Playboy? I never even as much as held one in my hand, yet they seem soooo popular...lol

Playboy? Oh man...I read lots of 'em when I was in high school! Penthouse too...I was fascinated by the forum and its blow-by-blow (pardon the pun) stories of encounters.

Thankfully all that exposure didn't affect my sexuality (and I wouldn't have it any other way!).

The bumper sticker on my car reads: "My other identity is Lord Gonchar"... ;)

Ha! :)

(think I could sell those?)

Dude, I went to Berkeley. The football uniforms are pratically tie-dyed. It was the home of the Free Speech Movement, and one of the epicenters of the Divest from South Africa/Anti-Apartheid movement. The city elections are two-party, but both parties are well left of anyone you'd consider a "Democrat"---the main difference being that one thought property owners had no rights at all, while the other thought that maybe they might.

And, I can tell you first-hand that people are stupid.

(Hmm. The thread is stuck in italics-land.)

^ But having a Golden Bear as a mascot shows they haven't entirely gotten beyond the exploitation of other species yet. Posers!
