That's cool, I leave Monday. I won't be able to make it to the park cause I work, but if you could post a quick blurb of info. (if any) tomorrow that would be helpful. Thanx....

“If you give a enthusiast a footer.......He’ll want a coaster!!!"
I didn't notice the footers, however I have seen concrete pumpers and cement trucks out there numerous times. It is completely obvious. Did anyone notice behind the fence where the Wildcat Grill is there is some sort of wooden board with a little roof on it? It almost looks like a great place for a park map or something. You can see it while in line at the Wildcat or on the shortest...soon to be longest...trainride in the world. There are also several areas where grey conduit is poking through the ground.
Also those employees need phones!! At most parks when there is something needed with maintenance or an medical emergency it is a phonecall away. Here it is a matter of someone flagging down a sup, then the sup getting the mgmt involved. It took 20 minutes for a woman to get assisted at Dodgem by mgmt during Timberfest. The employees need some love too!!

If they expand out from Wolverine Wildcat and Timbers then I could see it "going around the park" (new area to be exact, mabey two exits/entrances) It's layout is a tad samll plus there is an extra train that you ca see from the water park. It can be viewed from the slide that enters the Lazy River. (I think it was the are that had Be-Bop Blv cars and Go Karts in the Off-season photos)

I have heard the following:
Campgrounds
Resort
2 trains on one track with stops at the campground, waterpark and Timbers.
This came from a very reliable source. This same source knew nothing of any major attractions, but would of course welcome one. He insisted that Cedar Fair kept quiet about that sort of thing but was very open on other plans to enhance the visit to the park.
Truck down the road... are not related anymore.
Jourden sold the amusement park, but kept the excavation company, which owns the gravel pile across the road.
<10pm closing is based on both local ordinance, and the park's inability to get their own remaining residential neighbor to sell.
There are also septage standing pools at the back corner of the park. They may be running lines to those.
Or they may be building a hyper...

I highly doubt Terra. A large hyper is very belivable, which would follow the Cedar Fair "pattern" the other coaster would probly be a beemer or a boomerang (Ack to a boomerang, they are the devil!)

It's the 400' tall 27 inversion hyper-looper with underwater section. If this goes well they'll build the long rumored under lake Erie and under the peninsula coaster at Ceder Point. This coaster has the added benefit of shoring up the Magnum, preventing futher sinking.

It doesn't make sense to me for Michigan's Adventure to build an out-and-back hyper when they already have Shivering Timbers? Don't get me wrong, I do believe they'll get their hyper, but maybe in the form of a hypertwister?

Does anyone have a photograph of these 'footers' and how large are they?
Morgan hypers tend to have huuge footers for segments that are supported by singular columns.
If they're small or narrow, that would suggest something else.
Personally, I'd much rather see CF snap up Visionland's Rampage and erect it @ MA than yet another Morgan hyper....but that's just me.

CPlaya,
No, your not the only one who would like that. I've thought the same thing myself recently. While it could be said by some that Rampage is just another woodie, my opinion is that it would be a better addition than an out and back hyper. ST is as good as it gets as far as out and back coasters are concerned and I just don't see a steel out and back hyper being different enough.
However, a good CCI twister would be a good addition because the closest ride that MiA has to that is the Wolverine(yecch) Wildcat and that's not that great a coaster.
I think a set point roller soaker would be a good match for the park, considering how wonderful the water park is there. I also think an Intamin impulse coaster would work there also. Finally, what coaster enthusiast wouldn't want a B & M inverted in their back yard also.
