Mean Streak makeover underway at Cedar Point, no announcement yet

I've been working on my fitness for some time, and I've lost about 48 lbs in the last year or so. You want to talk cold? I'm always cold. It's 50 degrees outside, and I need an insulated jacket.

This seems like a good time to remind people that the park is closed, and wandering in there to photograph what's going on is in fact trespassing. Don't do it.

Soon enough, it'll be too cold for boats to get out there and take photos, either - so enjoy it while you can. :)

Use a drone if you plan to get pics of the construction so you are not breaking park rules!

Mean Streak isn't reopening next year. Some of you can continue to think it will but it isn't.

From my 20+ years as an enthusiast, I know it's ridiculously silly to believe a park or manufacturer saying they will or won't be doing something. Many tricks and fast-ones have been pulled by the likes of Paula, Jeff Seibert, etc.

Frankly, I don't particularly care or have any inclination when it will open. But I have seen crazier things done than retrofit Mean Streak by the opening day of 2017.

I can tell you now it isn't opening next year. That's not speculation or misdirection.

Without construction pics, how will people be able to hate the re-done ride before ever riding it? Can't they at least get a new ride name or logo or a leaked layout pic? I think the park owes them something here, don't they? :)
