Maverick work has begun

What happened to the canyons and rocks in the animated vids? The landscaping looks gross, I hope they're still working on it.

So after riding Maverick last week, I have to say that I don't think the heartline roll would have been that bad on the riders. I can't imagine the transition being any more brutal than some of the transitions still on the ride which can really hurt if you're not holding on and prepared for them. The S-cruve are is very gentle compared to some of the other turns. That's my honest opinion.

And despite the "neck banging", I am a bit greatful for the OTSR's this time, as they are very easy to lock, and I really struggled with the T-bar/seatbelt combination on Millie and Dragster, so much so that I had no desire to ride them more than once over the two days I was there. If only Intamin would do away with the shoulder harness aspect and just use that cool wrap-around lapbar.

Why is one of the oldest possible threads resurrected for this? A new one would've been fine.
