MA's Thunderhawk over water? yellow track! support color?

a neautral color would be better *** Edited 11/20/2007 12:06:08 AM UTC by Cedar "Counter" Point***
^^^I can only dread what color scheme they've got planned for Dominator, sure the trains will be yellow/purple/orange but no word on the track/support colors yet.

Does it really make one iota of difference?
Yes. :)
The new Thunderhawk logo reminds me of the eagle from the stephan colbert show intro!

That logo is hardly new. It, too, belonged to Thunderhawk at Geauga Lake.

Honestly where DID C.K.(insert random number here) go?! Did he soil himself so much about this news that his parents took away his vaio they got him for his 10th birthday?

Where have you been, I have been talking in some recent GL topics. Thunderhawk would never make me soil my self ( who talks like that ). Hopefully the swooping first drop will be over the water to add to the ride.

IIRC isn't Thunderhawk getting completely new trains?
hopefully, but doubt it. I doubt Cedar Fair will pay 1 million for new trains when theirs nothing wrong with the old.

I don't believe it's been written anywhere that Thunderhawk is getting new trains. That's very un-Cedar Fair.
I'm not too sure there's "nothing wrong" with those trains. Six Flags reportely had to switch the trains on SFNE SLC. They grabbed the ones sitting at Great Escape (ex SFAW Serial Thriller) and used them on the SFNE Mind Eraser this year. *** Edited 11/24/2007 5:33:19 AM UTC by Absimilliard***

So not to get off topic, but what is the deal with that SLC? Are they just going to let it rust in a field? There was all this talk about it going to the park in 2007 or 2008 but we see where that went.

Odds are they're just gonna let it sit & rot, otherwise it would've certainly been announced for 08 with the rest of SFI's attractions.

Anyhow I do remember hearing that someone spotted what appeared to be new trains on one of the flatbeds shipping track out to MIA & the original trains were never shipped out from GL at all.

Cedar Fair wouldn't bother with new trains, when there is nothing wrong with the old...but we can hope
Couldnt they just change the restrant system on the old trians. Would their be away to convert the old trains to the new system.

It's possible...but would be easier to get new trains, because i'm sure you would have to redesign the seats.

I heard that the station was on it's way up to MIA as well...

2009 - Walt Disney World Attractions.

^Are you referring to the queue house? I think it'd just be easier to build a new station/queue house from scratch rather than using a 10 year old one....I know that Dominator will certainly be recieving a new station/queue house seeing as that fire at GL pretty much took care of the old one, which was quite ugly to say the least anyway.

Well, if they roll the train off the transfer again... we may see a new train!
Well what sreamscape said about the trains for thunderhawk just sitting in the elements of northern Ohio and rusting leads me to believe they may be getting new trains.
