MA's Thunderhawk over water? yellow track! support color?

I think some of the teal pieces was from areas they couldn't get to to repaint.

That track thats now red wasen't in the October pictures, I can't remember if that was station track at one time, and like those teal supports, they decided to not repaint.

I contacted the park today to find out what was up - they confirmed that it's being painted but could not say the exact color scheme yet. (meaning the individual didn't know, it's not that the park has no idea)

I personally think those teal supports are from the station structure from when it was built at Geauga Lake - but I could be wrong.

Yea, I wonder why they filled in the section where the lift it going?

I think it would have been great over water.

what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.
Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.

Maybe they'll have land in places it's possible for the train to stop. Just in case of an emergency. I can't picture how it was set up at GL.

I noticed on Michigan's Adventure's 2008 brochure the colors in the Thunderhawk logo are just slightly different, showing more red than before - perhaps to acknowledge the track color.

I put up images of the whole brochure too, it's weird - they put the Thunderhawk stuff on the cover and on the last page ... sorta odd.

This type of ride seems like a perfect fit for this park. Not to expensive, but still gives some great thrills.
^^I saw that the other day as well,it looks very similar to how the new Dominator logo gives away the ride's new color scheme.

Red and yellow is a little better than yellow and orange.

Thunderhawk has gone vertical. There's a video up at http://faircast.cfvillage.com/

Cedar Fair Village was also nice enough to share some photos of the ride going vertical: http://www.newsplusnotes.com

They put up some track that's still orange, I'm sure it's too cold to paint all of it right now.

refurbishing all of the cars, including new seats and restraint harnesses

Most likely the restraints will be the same style, but anyone know if the new restraint system by Vekoma requires entirely new cars or if the seats and restraints alone can be replaced?

the new restraints would kick ass!

Interesting that the news article embedded an illegal video on the page.

I will never understand the novelty people see in risking their camera, safety, and day in the park for a shaky, grainy video on YouTube.

I am not sure that the video is illegal.

^Do you think the person got permission to hold a camera on the ride? It's illegal in the state of Ohio.
