Magic Mountain's Next Attraction

Well, from looking at the photos, it looks to be a floorless. But, from a distance, its hard to tell if the spine is straight or curved, especially from those angles of the shots...

I smell a Nitro themed floorless coming......

I'm still hoping the ride will have an original name and theme. But then again, it is Six Flags, so I'm not keeping my hopes up.

Chris, you've been smelling Nitro?? ;)

I noticed from Jeff's pics that the small horizontal advancing wheels rub the side of the cars' chassis, not the top or bottom dending on what type it is.

It seems to me the design above is used for Inverted & Flyers only. The large vertical road wheels are used on Sit Downs, Floorless & Stand-Ups.

Unless I'm wrong & there are ones that don't follow this pattern?

I never said a floorless wouldnt be a nice addition to MM's collection. All Im saying is I dont want to drive by and a see a yellow and blue copy of Medusa. Now, if they clone Superman from Warner Bros. in Madrid, THAT would be an acceptable installment. Superman is the ONLY floorless coaster in the world that has an immelman inversion. Of course, if MM also gave it bout 190 ft in height and 4500 in track length, I would be a very happy camper. Of course I am still holding out for a flyer since we have NO CONCRETE evidence pointing to either coaster. May be a pipe dream, but one can dream, cant he ??
All floorless coasters use pinch wheels to advance the trains (which is what you're seeing in those pictures). This is important because they're less likely to slip than the vertically-mounted tires found on other B&M coasters (floorless coasters have to match up exactly in the station).

It's a floorless.

All the pieces of track that have been delivered to SFMM are straight. There are three pieces with drive tires, and there are two with brakes. There are also some miscellaneous parts strewn around the site at the moment (pieces of the lift, etc).
Oh yeah, and there are some supports as well. Forgot about those.
Those are the same friction wheel types on Raging Bull right before the lift, and i asume the station, so you can't rule it to only be an inverted or flyer.
