With all the new attractions boasted for a lot of Cedar fair parks next year, do you think there will be any announcements for MA, or will it be another year of MA getting cricket recordings, to drown out the real cricket noises?
Granted that they added the gliders this year. But, it's the only substantial ride addition the park has made since 2008, while other Cedar Fair parks have been getting something new or transplanted almost every year.
Come on Cedar Fair, you have your profitable Michigan park. Throw us a bone. You seem to have no problem throwing money at your other parks, and adding new rides there. Why not give us something more to get excited about?
Maybe MA could have a haunt next year. That would be cool, and probably bring in a lot of people.
I didn't do it! I swear!!
A popcorn-scented brownie shop!
I tried so hard to resist the urge, but alas, I am only human.
13 Boomerang, 9 SLC, and 8 B-TR clones
Your right Timber-rider, I've noticed that too. Just by looking at the park map for Michigan Adventure's, they have lots of possibilities. Even something as small as Backlot Stunt Track would be cool for Michigan Adventure.
MiA's nearest competitor is Charmland.
What's Charmland adding this year? Scented plastic bags to pick up dog poop.
What, no popcorn joke?
Gliders, tighty-whitey twister....what more could a man ask for, really?

Cedar Fair is based in Ohio, why would they want to invest in that state up north?
They'd lose a lot on the exchange rate alone.
Hobbes: "What's the point of attaching a number to everything you do?"
Calvin: "If your numbers go up, it means you're having more fun."
Um, what would be the point of drowning out real cricket noises with cricket recordings?
Oh! Oh! Or was that what passes for humor in Michigan?

I commented on the crickets from a previous year, when people asked what MA's new attraction would be, and someone posted a video of a cricket noises. Someone also posted a photo of the new attraction, which was a broken child's swing set, with a broken slide.
As for the comment about shoot the rapids coming to MA, don't want it, don't need it. They already have a similar ride in adventure falls.
Though I would go for tighty whitey twister. Photos of yourself on tighty whitey twister 5 bucks. Have it right next to the beer garden, where you have to be 21 to enter. No girls though...ok girls.
I didn't do it! I swear!!
You have a great park, with great rides, that is one of the most profitable parks in its chain. I have an over-crowded Six Flags park, Great America, with a few good rides (Raging Bull, Whizzer) and some not so great rides (Superman Ultimate Proctology Exam).
To my mind, you are very fortunate.

I'd give you five bucks to burn all of the photos. Ten bucks if you'd throw all the tighty whities onto the fire also.
No one cares about Michigan's Adventure that's why it doesn't get new things. It's like Great Escape.
