That "hole" was the demolition site of KCKC, and more trees could be cut down behind the "hole" to make room for a new coaster. BTW, here is a link to a ride manufacturer who makes a flat ride called "inferno."

That looks like a pretty freaky ride coastersrz. It slightly fits the description of the ride mentioned on Thrill Ride, but I still don't know if that's correct. Whatever it is, I know PKI is going to make it something great. I see it going back next to FOF maybe. Possibly in Action Zone which would be a good idea. Very little shade there and it will spread crowds there out a little more. I wonder if it might be a ride like Aero 360 at Kennywood? So much speculation, you don't know what to think. Hopefully, we'll see a nice PKI press release soon.

Just got back from the park. No construction will take place until PKI's July 4th Fire In The Sky celebration takes place. The KCKC site will host one of many batteries of fireworks. Evidently the Eiffel Tower will also be a launching pad for this celebration. No one has any idea what inferno is. Forbidden Magic also opened today and is a great show. I highly recommend it.
It has to be something big...it's there 30th anniversary! I am sure it has to be a coaster...(please, a flat-ride would completely,well...let me down... and alot of coaster enthusiasts)

yup...well..i pretty sure. Is Ripsaw Falls at IOA a water coaster... i am pretty sure it is since in several instances it goes uphill suddenly...NO NOT A LIFT...a sort-of bunny hill

I've never heard of Ripsaw Falls being referred to as a water coaster. The only water coasters that I know of are Buzzsaw Falls at Silver Dollar City and Journey to Atlantis at Sea World Florida. They actually have a greater deal of roller coaster track that a couple of humps.

I have one complaint. Don`t believe anything ride-ops or concession stand workers tell you, because chances are that they have no clue what the ride will be and are just making something up.

On thrillride, they said that the ride will be similar to a ride at Paramount Canada`s Wonderland and will have water. Could this be an enclosed version of Cliffhanger? I cant` wait till PKI anounces. I have a feeling that its going to be either next week last week in June or some time after the 4th of July. I still think that it is a good possibility that we won`t see an anouncement until after daily operation has ended. But, you never know! (check out
