Kings Island new Coaster 2014

2014: Kings Island gets the first US non-Busch dive coaster and Voyage goes upside-down how many times??

B&M running their rides backwards, Rocky Mountain revolutionizing the industry and Gerstlauer pushes lap bars? We got some good years ahead.

So, when is CP changing Mantis to a sit down?

Lawlz.

308? That's gotta be the length. Totally gonna be a Dragon Wagon.

Tekwardo said: Besides, all three inverted coasters at Great America were right beside each other.

Now they have 3 yellow-tracked coaster right beside each other. Must be a Japanese thing.

Then you got your two Boomerangs side by side over there at Six Flags over Massachusetts.

(sigh) Nobody ever calls me for what to do.

My hunch is that the clues are meaningless and everyone will know exactly what type of coaster they are getting when the first track pieces arrive.

The interesting part of this is going to be the layout. They've got some hilly terrain and some trees in that area to work with.

When they announce an invert, I will be more than happy to have been wrong.

My NL-E name is Maverick. I've only uploaded one coaster from an old ThrillNetwork contest. Everything else I have is either waiting for 3Ds or doesn't currently meet my quality standards.

Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened.

I'll download and rate your coaster

I wouldn't mind a dive coaster at all. Griffon is amazing!

But it is still probably an invert. The "clue" is just hinting that the ride will have a dive, a.k.a. drop, as in it is a roller coaster.

I mean, we all should know that clues, especially from Cedar Fair, mean just about nothing at all.

Yeah, when Cedar Point built Shoot the Rapids, one of their Facebook clues pointed directly to a GCI coaster, and another toward B & M. They're just having fun with misdirection.

Parallel lines on a slow decline.

That's gonna be one huge invert.

A new stand up? Named Banshee? Okay, now that would be pretty cool for us coaster enthusiasts. lol

Making a Mantis clone would make me think of Kings Island a bit like Timber-Rider thinks of Michigan Adventures. That would be that way if they built all this anticipation for a ride that's in the same state.

^It wouldn't be so bad if they decided to go with a B&M Floorless because in a way, the track is very similar. Plus when Geauga Lake closed, there went the only Floorless roller coaster Ohio had. So I would be happy to see that come. Although for some reason, they aren't on B&M's big list anymore. Does B&M still make them or did they do away with them?

Except the stand up part.

And the Banshee part.

Shawn Meyer, I have a feeling if one of the big parks ordered one they'd be happy to comply. I think 2011's Hair Raiser at Ocean Park is the latest one, out of twelve total.
