I don't really understand much of a difference between Maverick's and Intimidator 305's turns. If Intimidator 305's are faster, wouldn't they already be abrupt. From what I can tell, Maverick's changes of direction are just very large while those I 305 look quicker and sharper.
No, but maybe if we were comparing the same ride experiences at least.
And how did it go from middle of your pack to not a good ride?

Pick one or any combination of the above.
(And everyone knows I'm just having fun, right? We're not really seriously debating the quality of a ride here...are we? This is the equivalent of my old NyQuil jabs about Nitro.)
I just got back to my hotel room from day two at Silver Dollar City and let me say that Outlaw Run is the best roller coaster ride I've ever taken. Ever in my whole life. I've already put aside any notion I might've had about what Kings Island should or most likely will get and spend my evenings praying to God that Rocky Mountain is headed to Ohio.
When I think of what they might do - what thrilling, outlandish elements they might plan for that wonderful space it makes me ache.
I know it seems unlikely at this point and signs point to the contrary, but please..... Pleeeeease......
Will you post a trip review or description of the ride of some sort? I can't imagine how awesome Iron Ratter will turn out to be.
RCMAC, it sounds like you might have been tempted to lick the trains. :D
I also would like to read a trip report.
RMC coming to Cedar Fair is what I'm talking about. Some new(ish) names in the industry coming to their parks? It could push them so much farther.

I'm pretty sure the enthusiast world, in fact the entire world revolves around what you think and what we can do to change your mind.
Or Maverick.

RCMAC, it was a reference to some joking in an earlier thread about a lady who was licking Xanax at a local park, and also referenced the ride molesting lady at Knoebels. Hope I didn't gross anyone out...perhaps the reference was too obscure.
Out of curiosity, when do parks normally make announcements about new rides?

Did anyone notice that Cedar Fair resurrected the Banshee trademark last week? From "dead" to "active.

The 2014 Giga/Banshee/whatever was meant for Michigan's Adventure, but they decided they'd rather keep that park on "sucks" status, so it's going to Kings Island instead.
Psh. If Michigan's Adventure needed a Banshee, it would've had one already...
...and it would've been a Dragon Wagon clone, anyways.

Until another park complains that they have a Banshee ride and Cedar Fair changes the name to a verb (a la Voodoo to Possessed), it looks like we've got a Banshee coming!

The power of voodoo. Who do? You do!
Couldn't resist.
:)
But yes...with the "evil phenomenon" verbage, I would say this is the leading candidate.
^I really thought you were going to link to Hedley Lamarr......that's Hedley!
No go do, that voodoo, that you do, so wellllllllll....... ;~P
You still have Zoidberg.... You ALL have Zoidberg! (V) (;,,;) (V)

Of course I did. Not a week goes by that I don't check up on the status of unused Cedar Fair trademarks!

RMC *is* coming to Cedar Fair... Ghostrider is apparently the next coaster to get the RMC treatment (just Topper Track, I'm told)
And, if my sources are right, that would mean two RMC refurbs in SoCal in the next few years (Colossus being the other, with Iron Horse & a reprofile a la NTG).
