As a long time "lurker" back to the days of RRC, I expected more - but would prefer to keep on topic.
As some you may know, Ispeed opened today. I still haven't found any opening footage, but the test video below is sweet. Personally, I think KD is getting a giga sized version of Ispeed right down to the square supports.

Maybe I should change my username to Mamouche? lol
Personally, I like the sound of "Moosh-engill."
Why does it bother some people so much that some people might know what the coaster is and are or aren't telling the rest of us, or that they don't and pretend they do, whatever, whatever? Once it gets announced and everybody knows, few people are going to remember who knew what when. Geez, Louise.
I've given it some thought and I've come to see that guessing a park's new coaster is very, very serious business and nothing to joke about. I promise that from this very moment not a single thing I say about KD's 2010 will be a red herring. No more teasing and taunting. No more douchiness. Thanks, Thom25 and danlinden, for setting me straight lol.
Ooops, wait. Sorry. Let me see if I can say that again without laughing.

Nope, can't do it. I guess once a douche, always a douche.
^^ Why do you care - It's my opinion - and the original post spefically asked for MY opinion - Let it rest - half of you weren't around when RRC was the only game in town.
And double spine track leads me to think the facts say giga.
Tom
...half of you weren't around when RRC was the only game in town.
So what are you suggesting? That you're better than everyone else? Ooooh...I bet you have a big track record too!
I've been posting to RRC since 1998. Put that in your Intamin giga iSpeed and launch it! ;)
Clearly you aren't as insightfull as I thought.
I've been posting on RRC since 1989 and am MORE than familiar with you, Bill Buckley, and alike. I do a ton of reading, while my posts were pretty frequent but not note-worthy. My favorite RRC moment, was Bill Buckley confirming SFNE was geting a hyper. And what a hyper they got !
I always "respected" your past opinion, but am now significantly questioning that belief.
And yes, my count is 459 (fyi) - lol
Tom
No - not at all - and NOTHING I have said has implied that in ANY way. I have experience due to my age and opinions (nothing more).
Tom
^^Youve been addicted to roller coasters 3 years prior to my birth! What is RRC, Ive been an enthusiast for about 4 years now, but I guess I have never run across it
Bolliger/Mabillard for President in '08 NOT Dinn/Summers
LMFAO - yup! RRC still exists and was the genesis of all these "specialty" boards. Welcome to the enthusiast community - it's a great hobby, while I can not wait for August.

Only in the sense that all usenet newsgroups begat the endless niche www message boards.

It won't be launched.
Moosh, do you have any idea if the trains will be like those found on the Hershey coasters and King Da Ka with the shoulder harnesses or like those found on El Toro with lap bar?
I don't see and double spine track on I-speed.
what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.
Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
Ispeed doesn't use double spine track but does have square supports and a new launch system. F1 using the new launch as Ispeed also has the double spine due to the forces involved.
Since KD has double spine track and square supports on-site, it's not too much of a stretch to think the new ride will have components from both Ispeed and F1, while it certainly could also have a lift like MF. We'll all find out in August.

RRC is still a remarkably waste of time as well. I used to post there for awhile myself, starting in 1998. It didn't last long. The signal to noise ratio got worse seemingly by day. Too many spammers, bigots and morons drowned out what little worthwhile conversation there was.
